Bhai mardana Ji wasn't Guru Ji jot, then why did he use Nanak :@

Thats why i beleive sufism is purest form of islam because they do beleive in reincarnation and they have this "un-conditional love towards allah/murshad" .

I think in that Shabad, Bhai Mardana Ji is refering to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Probably, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji could be sitting next to him when that Shabad came from Waheguru through Akal Purukh. That's what I think :)
