can anyone tell me what it takes to be a police officer, the different types of police officers, the rewards gained out of it

Only ever seen one Singh police officer. Seen a few community support officers. They do have an organisation for Asian police officers. Not sure the name, but might be best to contact them before you apply.

I had my interview last thursday! Waheguru interview process is so scary! But police are very cool with Sikhs and 5 Kakkar and stuff!! And we have a better chance of getting the job because we are ethnic minority :D But yh go 4 it!! Looks well fun 2 b a police officer

There is one Singh in Bradford who is a full fledged officer in York

ya.. many in punjab.. infact singhs make 90% of the force

The police seems interesting but after being in it for years it is not as great as first made out.

The police have no issue with the Panj Kakkar and will never comprimise them and that is really great. ALso the police love having Sikhs in the force, there are no issues.

It is not always fun driving around at speed, there is alot of paperwork and i really do mean alot. The Shift system takes some getting used to as it is different in every job role and constabulary.

However once you get onto a specialist unit doing work you have an interest in then it is really rewarding.
