Dasam Bani Opponents Blame Bhai Manpreet Singh Kanpuri For Faridabad Clash

Mehtab Singh, thanks for pointing out what the missionaries are saying.

The text on the YouTube post says: "According to Sikh Rehat Maryada, kirtan may only be done of bani of Guru Granth Sahib, writings of Bhai Gurdas & Bhai Nand Lal and Nitnem banis."

This is a blatant lie. Everyone knows the Sikh Rehit Maryada published by the SGPC allows for both Guru Granth Sahib's bani and Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani. See for yourself: http://www.sgpc.net/rehat_maryada/section_three_chap_five.html#article6

If they want to say "I don't think people should recite Guru Gobind SIngh Ji's bani", that's one thing, but don't claim that the SRM says that.

Secondly, I find it interesting that now they want to say Nitnem banis and Bhai Gurdas and Nandlal ji are OK, when at other times, they reject them.

Thirdly, I find it interesting that they take refuge in the SRM (Sikh Rehit Maryada) when it's the very same Faridabad group that wrote an article in the heretical India Awareness rejecting that same SRM point-by-point just this last summer!

Fourth, why are they picking on Bhai Manpreet Singh? They're making it seem like he just picked out some random piece of kachi bani to sing, whereas the fact is, these lines of Guru Gobind Singh ji have been sung for centuries in Gursikh Sangat.

Finally, even if someone is doing something against the maryada in a darbar, it's highly improper to disturb a running darbar. Take up issues with the organisers after the darbar. And then spitting on Sangat?!

They say "Fateh" in the video: Why? Since they reject Dasam bani and they reject the invocation "Ik oangkar, Waheguru ji ki Fateh." (See their articles in India Awareness.) They're just trying to make fools of Sangat.

They say that Manpreet Singh had already received calls about the matter, but he still recited the shabad. So in their opinion Manpreet Singh started the fight.

Near the end of the first video, they again say that since he had already received calls, and the matter was a "vivadit" (controversial) one, he shouldn't have sung the songs.

Hmm, OK, so that means anyone can stand up and call any point of maryada "vivadit" and then expect it to be changed?

The fact is, Manpreet Singh was completely correct to recite Guru Gobind Singh Ji's bani in the face of threats. It shows that he's not a spineless ragi just after money, but actually has some panthic feeling. If the Khalsa didn't stop reciting bani after being banned by the Mughals and the Afghans, why should it do so for anyone else?

Anyways, other missionaries don't believe in Bhatt bani. Some others don't believe in Bhagat bani. Still others don't believe in any bani at all. So are all those to be "controversial" issues, and to avoid controversy, kirtanias are supposed to refrain from reciting any particular verse that any particular person has an objection to?

These heretics try to take the refuge of SRM at their will. I doubt if they have even read the SRM. Even the definition of the Sikh says that a Sikh is one who believes in Sri Guru Granth Sahib and all the 10 Gurus banees. Maybe these heretics dont consider Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib as one of their Gurus.

These heretics should just see this list:

SRM and Sri Dasam Granth

Jaap Sahib

33 Sawaiye

Chaupaee Sahib (Charitropakhyan)

Ardas (Chandi Di Vaar)

Rehras (Ramavtar, Charitropakhyan, Krishnavtar etc)

Here is the hypocrisy. These heretics claim that they support banees enshrined in SRM, but they and their mentor Darshan has publically disowned all the above banees.

How are they Sikhs, Panthic and supporters of SRM is anyones guess!

They are cheats. A sustained compaign by gursikhs have made them to run for cover. Their thuggery is exposed.

Need of the hour is to keep this compaign on till these anti sikh elements are weeded out of panth.

Khalsa is awakened and this will eliminate their balsphemic propaganda.

part 1:

part 2:

How backwards are these three guys.

Bhai Manpreet Singh gave the best answer and that answer shock these moorakhs to the core and they had a glimpse of the shakti coming from the Khalsa.

Sri Dasam Granth Bani will be read and Kirtan will be done in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.
