Someone posted this today. Look at the clown talking in the beginning posing as a Sikh and mentioning Mai Bhago ji and comparing the Singhni with these next girls who are NOT Sikh.

Look how blunt the media has got in terms of confusing our youth in Punjab.

Benti to sangat: please give a big dislike and post your mind in the comment box of the YouTube video.

RIDICILOUS,

Punjabi girls told to act like gangsters/ black girls ! then again thats what the so called punjabi singers, especially the ones from the UK / Canada/USA do ( ACT BLACK ) !

Come to think of it the singers/dancers ( MEN & WOMEN) from the west are even worse!

the singers and video makers in India, just try to emulate what they think the people on the west will like, when in reality they should promote their OWN culture in videos as its richer and far more DECENT

Yup it is gandh the music producers and younger generation have totally lost it in punjab seriously. they think they are promoting Sikhi with modernity but what they are doing are making themselves look like clowns and easy nasty whores who trying hard to look westernised and act like gangsters. We dont need promotion of nasty gangster culture in Punjab we need a whole-sum religious inspired culture.

My analysis of Punjab from the music videos i seen lately is that these youths look at social networking sites like facebook, youtube, etc and see our western punjabi youth engaging in behaviour and looking the way they do so they want a piece of that action too thinking its cool to look and behave like that too. Its copy cat behaviour basically they dont realise that majority of us western punjabi's despise that kind of look and behaviour.

Western thinking = looks are everything, latest fashion and provocative tightest or less clothes is everything.

Sikh / religious thinking = Good character and heart is everything, way you dress should be modest gets you respect.

On positive note the promotion of Sant Bhindranwale and his iconic imagery came through this phenom of social media in Punjab. so while you have some engaging and promoting corrupt westernised behaviour in Punjab you have others who draw inspiration from what is out there on social media networks about their faith and recent history.

So what is causing the problem? Punjabi culture???! Or Black culture?!!?! Or Western culture?!!?!?

Why do I ask? Because the guy in the video looks 100% Sikh. Hopefully giving some of you something to mull over.

:wacko2: o_0

The youth is the product of what the media shapes. The problem lies solely with the makers of the song, whatever they promote the youth will probably eat up.

That guy is NOT a Sikh at all. They probably brought a Sikh in so people in Punjab who are kind of religious subconsciously think it's already to act like what's being portrayed in the song,

That's the thing. The whole video screams 'gangsterism'. But the images are of Sikhs and Punjabi girls in aviator sunglasses. He may not be Sikh but he looks like one and the women look like Punjabi girls. Sikhs in Canada already have problems with their image being synonymous with gangster culture. If Sikhs in Punjab do this too we will be considered a right bunch of idiots.

Best thing we can do is give a thumbs down and comment in punjabi so punjabi youth get the message lol...
