Somebody do a favor for Hari Singh and present Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj's Katha to him on Sri Chand. Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are saying that Sri Chand was full of ego and did not recieve mukhti. Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj does the correct katha of Bhai Sahib's Vaars on Sri Chand. Go to www.gurmatveechar.com to listen to this amazing katha. Sant ji is the block in these Sri Chand followers way. Deep down these Sri Chand followers hate Sant ji for not lying for their leader as some udhasis do to make Sri Chand look good. If Sant ji was here right now, he would tell Hari Singh exactly how Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are not limited to time. Chela of Sri Chand and Hari Singh need to understand Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars are not limited to time and whatever is written in the Vaars will not change over time. I wouldn't be surprised if Sant ji would have summoned Hari Singh for going against Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaars. People like to boost about Hari Singh being a student of Sant Baba Gurbachan SIngh ji Maharaj. How can he be a true student when he goes against his teacher. He sat in the classroom without listening to the teacher and waited till he could take Gurdwara stages to promote his thinking.

Give Hari Singh Sant ji's katha and let's see what he says. Record his reaction and in a second everyone will find out if Hari Singh is a Sant or not.

Why the onus should be on respected -one of great students (Sant hari singh ji randhawale) of sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale and rest of sant gyanis who were vidyarthis of sant gyani gurbachan singh ji bhindranwale who hold same overall position on (gatti of baba sri chand maharaj, baba sri chand came back in gurmat with blessing of satguru nanak dev ji started udasin samaprda) - same position as sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale ..Why? Because they understand context- uthanka (historical)- bhav arth correctly? why onus should be on them? Why? Because grade 1 students who cannot let go off their bigotry for a second and hide behind gurmat to fight their sadistic flame wars all day long?

In fact, the real onus should on - new age taksalis and their samagams boyz who failed to understand the uthanka/bhav art of gurbani and bhai gurdas ji varan by sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale and failed to see bigger picture, so yea the real onus should be on these people to find another top student of sant gurbachan singh ji bhindranwale to counter what - sant hari singh ji randhawale saying on topic of baba sri chand maharaj. I doubt they find another student of sant ji who provides views against baba sri chand maharaj...regardless whichever way you want to spin it.

The whole sant mandali along students of sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale plus sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale himself stands united on baba sri chand maharaj (how they came back in Gurmat, were top bhramgyani/satpursh with kirpa of satguru nanak himself)..!!

So yeah, here is the list of few top students out of many of sant gyani gurbachan singh bhindranwale, go out and search any of the students who can counter what sant hari singh ji randhawale said in the video-

1) Sant Harnaam Singh Jee Paatshah, Chakarvartee who taught Gurmat Vidya at Village Jogewal, District Faridkot. They made many into Shud Paatis ( those that can recite Gurbani correctly), and joined a lot of Sangat with Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee.

Sant Jee’s Writings

Sant Jee was a big scholar, at the same time they were a great poet as well. Their book Sri Gurmukh Prakash is written all in poetry form is about the life of Sant Sundar Singh Jee, this book is a big treasure chest of knowledge. Gurbani Paat Darshan has a lot of the vishrams and ucharans of hard Banis. In the beginning of this book Sant Jee has written all about rehat maryada.

Lets get back to work boyz, let go off your call of duty video game and start searching for answers as true sikh without bringing own bigotry and shortcoming behind Gurmat.

Only five veer ji, if you are seeking clarification on what Sant ji is saying , you should contact one of their best students, Bhagat Jaswant Singh ji.

But why not just listen directly to what Sant Jee is saying in his Katha. He is not speaking farsi or Pashto which you cannot understand or need a translator to translate for you. Sant Jee is clearly criticizing Sri Chand in plain simple Punjabi that I'm sure you can understand. Yet you guys are making it out as "Oh Sant jee didn't really mean that, on the inside he really meant the opposite".

People just wish it was that clear cut. There is uthanka(historical-thought behind invoking writing the shabad, there is bhav arth(literal meaning) of the shabad and then there is antriv(spiritual) arth. It's pretty evident in Gurbani- there are some scenarios and cases where position held in one shabad - it cannot be applied all across the board- Gurmat. If that was case, reader will run into many ontological, theological issues and doubts. One can clearly see for example- complex topic on avtars as well. Gurbani and Bhai Gurdas Ji Varan only seems contradictory to those who have "one dimensional thinking" or protestant way, for gyani samparda's is fine there is a reason why they spent 30 years + studying gurmat rather than internet warriors here who have some guts to insult baba sri chand maharaj (teekakar son of sri guru nanak dev ji maharaj)..if it was some other mahapursh, its fine- its their karma to insult but throwing insults on baba sri chand maharaj- son of sri guru nanak dev ji ??..sharam karo kuch...atleast use right "shabadvali" to address baba ji if not anything.!!

It just boggles me that thought does not come across one head- may be its our own shortcoming and lack of understanding, instead they go ahead and start insulting - sants like sant hari singh ji randhawale by using condescending shabadavali because they cannot let go their own shortcoming and lack of understanding on overall position..!!..what a twisted logic..!!

This is what a lot of Sikhs cant comprehend. the Uthanka behind each shabd. Bhai Gurdas Ji does criticise Baba Sri Chand, but not for being a bad person, but for using his position as Guru Ji's son for priviledges, which the successor Guru's sons did as well. Ultimately whatever mistakes Baba Sri Chand made, he still came back to Gurmat Marg. To

In the battle of Bhangani, the Udasis came to support 10th Guru, but they ran away at the start at the battle, except their leader Mahant Kirpal, and 10th Guru gave him vardan, that he has saved Udasi Samprdaye and it will always be part of the panth.

This bachan of 10th Guru still holds today.

Book: Itihaas Damdami Taksaal (Sankhep)

Editor: Didar Singh Khujaala

Language: Punjabi

Pages: 262

Second Edition, October 1999

Price: Rupees 40.

Publisher: Damdami Taksaal (Jatha Bhindraan), Gurdwara Gurdarshan Parkaash, Mehta, Amritsar.

Printer: Printwell, 146, Industrial Focal Point, Amritsar.

This book is an effort to bring out the history of Damdami Taksaal. The book says that Guru Amardas Ji appointed 22 'Manjis' and 72 'Peerhaas' to preach the Gurbani. Guru Arjan Dev Ji edited 'Beerh Sahib' (Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji). Baba Sri Chand started preaching the Gurmat. After Sri Chand, Baba Gurditta Ji was famous 'Mahatma' of Udasi sect. There were four disciples of Baba Gurditta Ji. Their names were 'Baalu Hasna', 'Phoole Shah', 'Goyenda' and 'Almast'. They established four 'Dhooney' of Udasis. The four 'Dhooney' and six 'Bakhsishaan' are called 'Das Naam Udasi'. All the Udasis belonging to these 'Dhooney' and 'Bakhshishaan' established hundred of 'Deras', 'Akhaarhe' and centers. During the hard days of Mughal rule, Udasis, Nirmalas and Seva Panthis continued to preach Sikhi. The book tells that many chiefs of Sikh 'Misals' adopted Sikhi under influence of Udasi, Nirmalas and Sevapanthis.

During the 'Singh Sabha Movement', Udasis and Nirmalas established idols of Sri Chand and removed Sri Guru Granth Sahib, or they installed other books of Hindu religious books along with Guru Granth Sahib, so that their 'deras' could not be taken over under new Gurdwara Act. The book says that Udasis used not to cut their hair/beard, but frightened by Singh Sabha movement, now 'Jataa-dhari', 'Mundit', 'Bhasmadhari', 'Nange' and those, who wear russet clothes, can be seen.

According to the book, Bhai Gurdas Ji, Bhai Budhha Ji used to do the 'katha' of Gurbani. During the time period of Guru Hargobind Sahib to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, Sikh-scholars used to 'Katha'. When Guru Gobind Singh came to 'Sabo Ki Talwandi', Guru Ji sent Baba Deep Singh alongwith 25 Singhs to Dheer Mal to bring the 'Gurbani Beerh', which was compiled by Guru Arjan Dev Ji. Dheer Mal refused to do so.

The writer is mistaken here. When Guru Gobind Singh Ji arrived Sabo Ki Talwandi, Dheer Mal was not alive at that time. He had been died, so it is wrong to say that he refused to give the Gurbani 'Pothi'.

The book says that Guru Gobind Singh Ji started to recite the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Bhai Mani Singh ji had been writing it. In the morning, Guru Ji used to recite Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Bhai Mani would write it. In the evening Guru Ji would teach its meanings to 48 Singhs. From 'Kattak Sudi Pooranmaasi', Sambat 1762 Bikrami to 23 'Saavan', 1763 Bikrami, in 9 months and 9 days, Guru Ji completed the work.

According to the book, Bhai Mani Singh started the 'Taksal' at Sri Amritsar and Baba Deep Singh Ji started it at Damdama Sahib. The names of 48 Singhs, who were educated by Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Sabo Ki Talwandi, have been given in this book.

Then, the brief biographies have been given of Taksal-chiefs. Baba Deep Singh Ji was the first chief of Damdami Taksal. It is written in this book that when Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave 'Guruship' to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Bhai Mani Singh ji was doing the 'Chaur' over Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Baba Deep Singh Ji, Bhai Dharam Singh Ji, Bhai Hari Singh Ji, Bhai Santokh Singh Ji Bhai Gurbaksh Singh were present there as 'Panj Piyare'.

The writer did not quote to any of old Guru-history books to prove his statement that Baba Deep Singh Ji was present there in Sri Hazoor Sahib, Nanded, when Guru Gobind Singh Ji left for his heavenly abode. Instead, he quoted to 'Sri Gurmukh Parkash', written by Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa (Bhindran wale), who himself was the chief of Damdami Taksal (Jatha Bhindran). It is not an old book.

The book says that Baba Deep Singh helped Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in every battle and movement. When Baba Banda Singh Bahadur came to Anandpur Sahib, Baba Deep Singh stayed with him for three months. Baba Banda Singh was impressed to listen the 'Katha' by Baba Deep Singh. Here again, the writer did not give reference to any of old books.

According to the book, after the death of Divan Darbara Singh, in 1734 AD Tarna Dal and Budhha Dal were organized. Tarna Dal was divided in five groups. One of these groups was headed by Baba Deep Singh. There were 2,000 horsemen in his group.

When Jahan Khan filled up the 'sarovar' of Sri Amritsar Sahib, Baba Deep Singh came forward to rescue. In a battle, Baba Deep Singh's head was cut off. He put his cut head on his palm and continued to fight. Bhai Mahit Singh and Baba Naudh Singh also fought there without heads.

Baba Gurbaksh Singh Ji was the second chief of Damdami Taksal. He was son of Bhai Dasaunda Singh and Mother Lachhmi Ji of village 'Leel', near Khemkaram, Distt. Amritsar. According to this book, the 'Janamsakhi Giyan Ratnaavali' was recited by Baba Gurbaksh Singh Ji and was written by Bhai Surat Singh. During Abdali's invasion, Amritsar was attacked. Baba Gurbaksh Singh was martyred in the battlefield. Baba Gurbaksh Singh's head was cut off. He started to fight without his head.

The writer says that after the martyrdom of Bhai Mani Singh, the 'Katha' in Sri Harmandir Sahib was stopped, which was restarted by Baba Gurbaksh Singh Ji. The people used to call him 'Nihang Singh'.

Giani Bhai Surat Singh was the next chief. He belonged to village 'Chann-kot', Distt. Jhang (Pakistan). He wrote the 'teeka' of first 'Vaar' of Bhai Gurdas Ji. Bhai Surat Singh took over the control of Sri Harmandir Sahib in 1765 AD. He used to do 'Katha' in Sri Harmandir Sahib.

Born in Sambat 1825 Bikrami, Bhai Gurdas Singh Ji was the next chief of Damdami Taksal, according to this book. He was elder son of Bhai Surat Singh Ji.

After the death of Bhai Gurdas Singh Ji, his younger brother Bhai Sant Singh became the next chief of Damdami Taksal. The writer says that Bhai Sant Singh was the teacher of great poet Bhai Santokh Singh Ji and poet Megh Singh Ji. Bhai Sant Singh Ji expired on 'Haarh Sudi' 8, Samvat 1889 Bikrami.

Sant Dya Singh Ji was the next chief. After his death, Sant Giani Bhagwan Singh became the chief. The writer says that Sant Bhagwan Singh accepted 14 'Gupt Avtaars'. These are the 14 'Gupt Avtaars': -

Baba Sri Chand Ji

Baba Lakhmi Chand ji

Baba Mohari Ji

Baba Mohan Ji

Baba Anand bhagat Ji

Baba Gurditta ji

Baba Sooraj Mal Ji

Baba Ani Rai Ji

Baba Atal Rai Ji

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Ji

Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Ji

Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji

Sahibzada Fateh Singh Ji

Ramrai Ji

Sant Harnam Singh Bedi was the next (9th) chief of Damdami Taksal, who was succeeded by Sant Bishan Singh Muraale wale. Sant Bishan Singh expired on 'Maagh' 15, 1962 Bikrami. Sant Sundar Singh Bhindrawale was the next chief of Damdami Taksal, who was born in 1883 AD (1940 Bikrami Samvat) in village Bhindar Kalaan, Distt. Firozpur. Sant Gurbachan Singh Bhindrawale, who was born on February 12, 1902, succeeded Sant Sundar Singh.

The biography of Sant Gurbachan Singh Bhindrawale in this book has been written by Sant Kartar Singh Bhindrawale. It is the longest part of this book.

The next chief of Damdami Taksal was Sant Kartar Singh Bhindrawale, according to this book. He died on August 16, 1977 AD. He was succeeded by Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa (Bhindrawale).

Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa was born in 1947 AD in village 'Rode', Distt. Faridkot. This book tells about his role during 'Nirankari and Sikhs dispute' in Amritsar, Nirankari-chief Murder case, Lala Jagat Narayan Murder case, 'Akali Morcha' etc. Interestingly, this book does not give any details of 'Operation Blue Star', which was a big episode of Sikh history. The writer says that Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa went to an un-told place after the 'Operation Blue Star'.

Brief biography of Sant Baba Thakur Singh Ji has also been given in this book, who is acting chief of Damdami Taksal. A brief description of Gurdwara Gurdarshan Prakash, Mehta has been given on last pages.

Great example.I often give example of Mahant Kirpal dass ji.He was not trained in warfare and had lathi with him. he killed enemy

with lathi only.

Kirpal in rage, rushed with his mace and struck it on the head of the tenacious Hayaat Khan.

With all his might, he caused the marrow flow out of his head, which splashed like the butter spattering out of the pitcher of butter broken by lord Krishan.7.

Dharamchand son of Laksami Das (second son of Guru Nanak) also made display of his egotism.

Guru Angad’s son Dasu was made to sit on the seat of Guruship. Datu, his second son also learnt to sit in the siddh posture (both the sons were pretender to Guruship and during the time of third Guru Amar Das they tried their best to win over devotees).

Mohan (son of Guru Amar Das) got afflicted and Mohari (the second son) lived in a lofty house and started getting served by the people.

Prithichand (son of Guru Ram Das) came out as dissembling scoundrel and using his oblique nature spread his mental sickness all round.

Mahadev (another son of Guru Ram Das) was egotist who was also led astray.

They all were like bamboos who though lived near sandalwood (Guru), yet could not become fragrant.(33)

In this Shabad Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj does the arth of history, literal and the spiritual. All arth are done by Sant ji. I will add the recording here for the sangat to listen. If someone doesn't understand punjabi, then say so and i can translate for them.

Vaar 26 Pauri 33 - Baal Jatee Hai Sirichand

Honestly i have nothing else to add to this thread. Sant ji says it picture clear and if i had any doubts i would surely ask Bhagat Jaswant Singh ji. No clarification needed.

Singho this debate is pointless since the other side does not want to recognize what Sant ji said. Enjoy your summers by doing naam simran outside. This is becoming a waste of time now. Don't entertain the ego!!!

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat as it is against rehit, maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
