More than 100 "Dalit" Sikhs were blessed with Khanday Batay da Amrit in a remote area of Madhya Pardesh, India. These Khalsay overcame a lot of hardships from local village leaders and police who tried to break them down away from becoming Khalsa because of their "neech Jaat." They have overcome all tests and took Khanday Baata da Amrit in December 2012 from a Smagam organized in their locality by Akhand Keertanee Jatha India. Please support their cause and rejoice to see the wings of Khalsa Panth spreading out to all. There are hundreds of more Praanee who are thirsting Naam/Baani and Amrit dee daath and the next smagam here will be organized in June 2013. Donations and other sevaas will be used for building these Sikhs a Gurdwara Sahib in their village and organizing more Smagams.

Brilliant news!! We do ardaas that the Khalsa Panth will welcome and continue to support the new Sikhs with open arms like true brothers.

Mahabali Guru Gobind Singh turned the downtrodden low castes into Kings. The Pahari Rajai hated this, and it was one of the reasons they were hostile towards our Pita Ji.

We must remove this disgusting poison of jaath/paath from the Khalsa Panth and treat all our brothers as equals. Sit with them, eat with them, socialise with them, support them educationally and economically. These people value Sikhi more than most of us. For it truly pulls them away from the oppresive treatment they recieve from the general Hindu culture/people.

Much respect to AKJ for their excellent effort and parchaar. Whilst many are busy making bucks or a name for themselves... These Singhs have spread the message and fragrence of Gurbani to the needy. I hope all other jathebandiyan and sampryada (esp the ones whose historic role was parchaar) will take note, and follow in the same footsteps.

India has so much potential to give the Khalsa Panth massive numbers and in turn, help turn this adharmic/rotten country into a swarg once again. It is the destiny and right of Millions of Indians, especially those under priviledged, to find a place at the Guru's pavitar charan kamal (and find respect and purpose in doing so).

After years of shedding tears of sorrow(and horror) at our sorry state, finally we can shed some tears of joy seeing these beautiful new Sikhs of the Guru. This is the greatest post of this year so far.

Awesome news and a matter of joy for us. But the question which comes in my mind is

what is SGPC doing to promote Sikhi. I feel pained at the state of affairs in Punjab where

there are so many patits now. Sikhs have neither Bani nor Baana. If this trends continues

unabated, the day is not far when Sikhs will be in minority in Punjab.

There is an urgent need for change in Sikh leadership to stem this rot.
