If we have simple industrial warehouse type Gurdwaray that can accommodate more capacity of those with faith in Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj at the same location - our Qaum will be stronger, as Gurmat teaches.

Our Dharam is within not without and is not showcased externally with fancy buildings adorned with Gold "dakhaavay vasthay". Wherever Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj is present, that place becomes a "pavithar asthaan" based on the sharda and ekta of the Sangat.

In the UK, Paji, we wasted approximately £30million (C$ 50million) on three relatively recently constructed Gurdwaray. Most GurSikhs opposed such flagrant expenditure when others within the Panth and globally are in greater need.

Gurmat teaches us that we can achieve more spending the majority of the funds mentioned on the downtrodden and gareeb and suffering ... whilst simultaneously gaining greater inner peace by praying to God in not so fancy surroundings.

Sikhi is a totally different marg from Hinduism, Islam and Christianity.

Let them waste their millions on their fancy Churches, Mandirs and Masjids. Let us concentrate on Sarbat dha Bhalla

Isn't it a bit of a waste though? That milk could be given to poor people who are starving. I think guru sahib would prefer that rather than people using it to clean him.

I know. What do they think Langar is for? But I think these Shararattee people know this but they still like doing Kintu Prantu for no reason in order to create confusion and division in the panth on minor things. UK = I've got a couple of cars bro. One's a Bentley I got last month, the other is a Hummer I bought the other day. I hope in 300 years somebody doesn't allege that either of my cars belonged to Guru Sahib, if you get the point I'm trying to make to you. In all seriousness, I actually have an old 1300cc Japanese second-hand car (not only because I'm Punjabi and kunjoos) but because Gurmat educates us to control our natural materialistic desires as opposed to wasting excessive money on depreciating assets. By the way, as I need my car for work I wouldn't sell it to give the money raised for charity and then walk barefoot (as each of us has to determine what is the right balance for us according to Gurmat).

When someone who doesn't have a valid Gurmat based stance wants to create change they often misrepresent the issue. Here they are saying the floor is washed with milk, when it's actually washed with kachi lassi, and then they are saying that it's like washing the floors with semen, when there is no ling being pooja'd anywhere. retards of course jump on board and start doing kintoo as well.

what are the floors supposed to be washed with??? what sevadars are using is actually a natural solvent that breaks down grime.

if industrial cleaners were used they would eventually change the ph of the jal in the sarover, harm the natural fauna, and cause skin damage to sangat who do ishnaan there. not to mention the fact that the fumes from industrial cleaners cause damage to brain cells. Of course, the missionaries probably see doing ishnaan as manmat anyway and i guess the fish in the sarover can be used to feed people :no:

Sun Singh some very valid points ... but in the age of pressure cleaners and steam cleaners which require no chemicals ... it might be worth us as a Panth re-considering what to use for cleaning marble ... and agreed that only positive actions in line with Gurmat can cleanse sins from our soul (rather than taking a dip in the Ganges or anywhere else).
