Why is everyone so eager to label me Pakistani? Just because I brought up the real facts as they are? Closing your eyes infront of the cat much?

Pakistani Punjabis do speak Punjabi...all the time. The real weakness lies in lack of Punjabi in Pakistani punjab on institutional level (No newspaper, isn't official language of Punjab, no university courses in Punjabi language, no teaching of Shahmukhi script to students etc.)

Other than the language issue, Muslim Punjabis are as Punjabi as one can be.

maybe it's because of how you easily dishonour women with your words ...

As I said there is a drug problem and Sikhs should be doing their utmost to eradicate it but it takes the biscuit when a Muslim pretending to be a Sikh comes on here trying to claim Muslim supremacy over the Sikh Punjabis.

I suspect this is happening here too. Malang is a Muslim no doubt. I mean if you see a guy claiming to be a Sikh but unnecessarily praises Muslims or Hindu Punjabis you know this guy has to be an imposter. And there is nothing wrong with praising another community but the way he is praising them is very condescending like he wants to show they are superior to Sikhs.

Other than religious observance of the Muslim Punjabis, they have nothing else to be praised of. In everyway Sikhs are the only true loyal sons of Punjab. Since the start it has only been Sikhs who were willing to fight the foreigners for the freedom of Punjab while the other two communities quietly submitted. Sikhs fought against Mughals, Afghans and even against the British while the other two communities didn't. Only Sikhs took up the cause of the Punjabi language while the other two have abandoned their mother tongue in favour of Urdu and Hindi(both UP/Bihar languages). Only the Sikhs are following the indigenous religion of Punjab which is Sikhi while Islam is the religion of the Arabs.

In united Punjab, there were 53% Muslim Punjabis and 45% Sikh Punjabis in 1947.

The part of Muslims being 53% is true but Sikhs were no where near 45%. In united Punjab state, Sikhs were only 14% the smallest community of Punjab. The Hindus and Muslims were the two majority communities. And 14% is the largest our share has been. Historically Sikhs during the misl period when Sikhs faced numerous genocides at the hands of the Islamic invaders, Sikhs were only 5% of the population yet managed to rule over 95% population of the Punjab who were Muslims and Hindus. Then during the rule Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Sikh population grew but it only grew to about 14% or so of the population. The reason why Muslim Punjabis have their own country is because of the British who gave it to them. The Muslim league used the British democratic system to win elections due to the majority population of the Punjabi Muslims.

. There is no difference between their ancestors and these Yazidis who were only recently converted by force to Islam.

What happened to the Yazidis was actually history repeating right before our very own eyes. This is what happened in Punjab for the last thousand years. In Afghanistan the same thing had happened a little over a hundred years ago in the Nuristan region to the Kaafirs of Kafiristan. The then ruler of Afghanistan had invaded that land and forcibly converted those people and once they had converted their region was renamed from Kafiristan to Nuristan. Their kin the Kailash(who are now in Pakistan) remained non Muslims because they were being ruled by the British and were out of reach of the Afghans. Today the Nuristanis are considered one of the most hardcore Jihadis in Afghanistan.

During Ottoman rule in Europe, the Ottomans had also done atrocities on the Europeans of the Balkans. In the following video it shows what they had to go through. Forward to 5:42 and watch.

This is also how Punjab became 53% Muslim.

15% is pretty insignificant.

Future of Punjab and Punjabis lie with Muslim Punjabis and Pakistani Punjab.

But good thing is that diaspora Punjabis are really close. Whether from Pak or India, Punjabis get along well together.

In UK there is some tension because of stupid reasons and retardness of both communities. But in the U.S, everything is fine.

If population is the criteria, then isn't the future of South Asia in the hands of the Hindus? Isn't the future of the world with the Christians? You do write some crap so please do everyone a favour and stop pretending to be a Sikh. No is buying your islamic BS here.

If Punjabi language is not very important for Punjabi Muslims and Urdu is then really this whole topic is a waste because if anything it proves that muslims of Punjab are not the future of Punjab.

I do not see how Urdu which is esentially a UP language can unite Pakistan. If devolution takes place, particular with the Sindhis, Pathans and Balochis then could some revival in Punjabi because Punjabi muslims will be asking questions.

Pakistan is a failed state. The Pathans hate the Punjabi Muslims who then hate the Sindhis and the Baluch. The best thing to happen would be for Pakistan to have a civil war when people have to make choices whether they are Pakistanis or Sindhis or Baluchis etc. The same thing happened with East Pakistan when the native Bengali Muslims made the choice that they were more Bengali than Pakistani. The UP and Bihari bhaiyas who settled in East Pakistan in 1947 who supported the West Pakistanis were then either kicked out of Bangladesh or live in refugee camps even now.

For only 15 percent, we have done pretty well considering. What have the remaining 85 percent done?

What steps are the Punjabi Muslims going to take to ensure that the Punjabi language is taken seriously at an institutional level in their own province let alone overally in Pakistan?

also shows the nature of the 85% who could not protect themselves and relied on the 15% to save them and give the sacrifices
