Disturbing use of the term 'Sant Baba'. He's just a child. Let him grow up, teach him about Sikhi, let him do his Bhagti. Why do they try to groom him into becoming a Sant from infancy? a Sant is one who is made one by the kirpa of Guru Sahib. Read the life stories of Mahapursh of the past. Sant Attar Singh Mastuanewale, Sant Ishar Singh Rarewale, Baba Harnam Singh Rampur Khera, Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. These Mahapursh did massive amounts of Bhagti since Baal Avastha. They spend years of doing Bhagti before people started calling them Sant Baba.

Hanji I was thinkin this too, they spent years doing bhagti. Waheguru

But it won't end there, will it, Sister? We've seen it time and time again, so much so that I wonder whether we are actually capable of learning from the past. I hope you're right, I honestly do, but experience tells me situations like these are based on thing and one thing only: money.

I'll tell you how it'll go: the youngster will gradually build up a profile amongst sangat in Punjab and wherever there's a demand for his parchaar in India. There'll be diwaans, smaagams, etc, headlined by this individual. Eventually, the real money spinner will come knocking; the overseas diwaan. Then you'll have the UK, US, and Canadian sangats climbing over each other to get a piece of this prodigious talent. The money will start pouring in; he'll be shepherded from airports to Guru ghars to the home of wealthy Gursikhs in fantastically expensive vehicles like a rock star on tour.

He'll open a production line where he'll demand people take Amrit (which is of course not a problem), but nary will there be a mention of introspection, self-improvement, studying scriptures, tolerance, understanding, and friendship. Just churn out the Singh's and Singhnis; job done!

His enablers and chele (and there'll be many) will weave legends about his growing shakti, and some will most likely begin to whisper he's an incarnation of a famous Sikh personality from yesteryear. And the myth will continue to be fed by the gullibility and foolishness of us all.

Who knew Sikhs would swap the idols of clay or stone for idols of flesh and blood? And it hasn't even 500 years since the creation of the Khalsa.

Same bodyguards as Mr Dhadriwal, who also appeared on the scene as a youth. Family business perhaps?

Hmmm. I knew the style of "sermon" delivery seemed familiar. Although I honestly can't tell if the circled Singh's are the same person. Seems like a cynical and calculating thing to do, doesn't it? Almost like expanding the franchise? Or preparing for someone to inherit the "gaddi" one day in the distant future.

After watching that video it's like watching a child version of Ranjit Singh Dhadrian Wale and it's a bit worrying to be honest.

All you have to to is be a good story teller to deliver a good sermon, it has nothing to do with religion, unfortunately our community goes blind when it comes to religion, also, Sant Baba, really, how does one become a Sant, is there some sort of governing bosy for it or do you fill in an on-line application form or something, it seem's like everyone and their chacha is a Sant nowadays.

I am obviously speculating, the two may just be friends and sharing ragis. But my experience teaches me that none are to be trusted. What can a preacher preach that you cannot directly gain from the Guru? There is no need for a middleman. The truth is very simple and succinct and there for the taking.
