Please could gursikhs shed some light on why during kirtan raesnbhaiyes we have singhs giving out nuts,mishry,almonds,raisins etc ?

I assume the same reason as karah prasad, its sukha prasad. Some Raagis have Mishri, when doing kirtan to Sooth and sweeten the mouth also.

Sorry ji a bit off topic, but about karah prasad, which is a blessing of the Guru.

It's called ' Sukka' (dry) Prsad and is served because of the dryness (and calories ) - Rehansbaai probably does not last for just an hour?

They are known as Sri Fal coconut milk ghee Gur etc

I always thought it was for the energy, given how they are all-nighters and Punjabi culture habitually equates badaams and other nuts with energy (although I equate it with tummy problems and toilet problems.....(irratable bowel syndrome)
