But you guys should have a look at Dr Stephen Meyer's work along with Michael Behe's work 

They show that evolution - in Darwinian terms an unguided process of natural selection, what they've been telling for schools - is wrong. They show it is a process that is guided by intelligent design, they analyse DNA, the Cambrian species explosion and cool stuff like the flagellar motor

Who was manu? In Indian tradition is manu the first man? 

Does the word manmukh come from manu?  

Iv read how God sent down a massive flood but manu was saved by a whale ?

NOOO.... there is no first man in indian tradition as far as i know......

It’s not that man descended from apes but that man and ape had a common ancestor. A bit like saying you and your second cousin have a common ancestor (ie great grandfather). Some of these branches died out. Others have developed into what you see today: chimps, gorillas, bonobos, orangutans, humans etc.

That's interesting. Maybe hanuman was on earth during the early stages of human evolution, during the time of the monkey people. Lol that's sounds crazy

So in what yug did the early humans exist in? Like the really early monkey people which yug were they in?  Maybe they existed in the same yug as hanuman and ram. I think the ramayan says that hanuman had a army of monkeys help him to Sri Lanka and in the war against Ravan.
