I Think only the religion is dying... Sikhi Values are not...

what nonsense !

if there's no follower of a religion left, how can that religion be called alive ?

90% percent of people in India said that religion plays an important role in their life, 10 % said no it doesn't, that's 100 million people that said religion has no importance in their life in India, and the numbers will grow. 9 % Pakistanis said religion has no importance in their life,  these figures will grow ...

And even the ones that said it does have importance in their life, how many of them pray, follow all the traditions and rituals, don't drink, don't sleep around, don't smoke, do charity ? Etc   very few probably ...

That's why living a life for Waheguru in Kaljug means you are blessed and is much easier that getting mukti than any other jug.

We are complex creatures with simple logic. We need to see benefit in anything we put our energy towards. That small point is not stressed enough when we "preach".  Show our fellow sikhs the benefits of sikhi values through your own life. If they see strength, happiness, prosperity, advancement from following....why would they not follow more?  If all they see is the same problems, anxieties, health issues, depression, weakness, corruption, greed, etc as afflicting the common man, who wants to follow?

Our forefathers saw the divinty of Guru sahibaan during their physical sareer presence. They saw the changes Guruji brought in the lives of their sikhs. They got inspired and dedicated themselves and their families.

Just some food for thought.

not so much happiness but more contentment and a little prosperity imo as too much induces ego etc. otherwise agreed.

in my eyes, the biggest thing missing from so many sikhs today is true fear and love of akaal purakh....

one thing saying it but another proving so with all thoughts, speech and actions - how many of us really feel these about the creator in the same way as guru sahibaan and sikhs during their times?
