Why Sikhs ,Hindus and Buddhists must never forget the holocaust that happened to them from year 1000 to year 18000 In India.

Many people only know or have knowledge of the Mughal empire that existed between 1526 and 1756. A brutal span of Muslim rule in India that lasted over 300 years, what many don’t know is that before the Mughals ever landed on Indian soil. There many other Islamic invaders who plundered and massacred India and destroyed the Hindu/Buddhist temples and built mosques over them. Yes well before the Mughals. Ghanzvni, delhi sultanate and many others starting in the year 1000.

There were 100s of invasions and massacres carried out by armies from Afghanistan and the middle east.  The difference is these were different to the Mughals. They mostly came to loot and rob the precious stones and wealth of the country after they had destroyed these beautiful ancient Hindu temples they would go back to the middles east from where they came from. Not before killing 100 and thousands of Hindus and Buddhists.

They did not have any plans to stay and create an empire. It was a kind of rob, kill and run. Nevertheless they were just as devastating as the Mughals if not more and carried the same fanatical ideology with them.

During these attacks from starting from Mahmud ghazni in 1000. They would massacre 100.000 Hindus a year as that was their aim. Every time they came they made a point of destroying all the beautiful ancient Hindu temples. Hence the reason why you see a lack of ancient Hindu and Buddhist temples in India apart from certain areas in the south of India where they did not venture.

Now any person who visits to India must always be astonished that when they are in India the birth birth place of the great Indus valley civilisation. The country particularly the north is dominated by Muslim monuments and structures. Yet this is majorly Hindu Country with a civilisation going back 5000 years. In that long period of time, we only have a handful of ancient Hindu temples and structures.

Did the great ancient Hindu civilisation of the Indus valley not build any beautiful temples or monuments in all this time, I hear you ask. Where the Mughals only capable of building beautiful buildings?

The answer is that there were far more beautiful temples and structures built by the Hindus and Buddhist kingdoms dotted all over north India that were much older and beautiful then the taj mahal ect. But only a few remain. It is the fact that over 2000 Ancient Hindu temples and Buddhist monasteries were destroyed by the Islamic invasions dating from when they started in 1000 to 18000 and the stone from them was used to build mosques directly above them. Some of them include Somnath temple in Gujurat a beautiful ancient temple that was plundered by ghazni. 50.000 Hindus alone died trying to protect it.

That’s is 800 years of brutality that resulted in the Hindu ,Sikh and Buddhist Holocaust. All Indian cultural books, temples and everything what made the Indus valley civilisation great was wiped of the face of India hence why India lacks its original culture of the indus valley. Much of the culture of India has permanently been destroyed. The Islamist hated anything that was non muslim so tried to destroy it.

Most of its ancient culture, artifacts, knowledge, and temples was replaced by Islamic buildings and culture.

The question now is have we forgotten all this?

The schools teach us about the Jewish holocaust and the holocaust of Europe carried out by the Germans during the world wars and rightly so.

But the biggest holocaust of all time that occurred in south Asia hardly gets a mention. The entire country was devastated after wave and waves of attacks from the middles east. Millions of people were butchered, and millions were forced to convert to Islam.

This also begs the question that why was India not able to defend its people and temples from Islamic invaders?  The answer lies in the better and more organised armies of the middles east. While the Islamic invaders had gunpowder and all kinds of advanced military. India did not have anything hence could not fight back. Another reason is. India was an easy target. Countries such as Afghanistan and other middle eastern countries are only about 1000 miles away.

Now the question is having we learnt anything from the past invasions and atrocities. How can we prevent this from ever happening again.

With the invasion of India by Mahmud Ghazni about 1000 A.D., began the Muslim invasions into the Indian subcontinent and they lasted for several centuries. The Muslim invasions continued even when the Muslims were ruling India, like the invasion of the Mongols during the reign of the Khiljis or the invasion of the Mughals in the early sixteenth Century when the Lodis were ruling Delhi. The last notable invasion of the Muslims from outside was the invasion of Nadir Shah in 1739, during which he unleashed a great horror on the native population.

During these seven hundred years of Muslim invasions and their conquest and rule of India, the Hindus were the greatest sufferers. It is difficult to estimate the number of Hindus who lost their lives during these campaigns, the number of Hindus who died because of the religious persecution perpetrated on the native population by the Muslim rulers, and the number of Hindus who were forcibly converted to Islam.

According to Prof. K.S. Lal, the author of the Growth of Muslim population in India, the Hindu population decreased by 80 million between 1000 AD, the year Mahmud Ghazni invaded India and 1525 AD, a year before the battle of Panipat.

One can safely add another 20 million Hindus to this list to account for the number that were killed during the Mughal rule or the rule of the Muslim rulers in the Deccan plateau. By all known accounts of world history, as pointed out by Koenard Elst in his book the Negationism in India, destruction of about 100 million Hindus is perhaps the biggest holocaust in the whole world history.

Europe never forgot or forgave the atrocities of the Nazi rule under Hitler. We hardly come across any positive reference to either Hitler or his army in the present day text books on European History. No one talks there of the qualities of Hitler as a great commander or an inspiring leader of German people whom he could mould and influence with his hypnotic speeches. No films are made showing Hitler as a romantic hero singing songs and his mistress as a heroine shedding copious tears over her lover!

The European consciousness is filled with the evil deeds perpetrated by his regime, thanks to the untiring work of their politicians, journalists, historians and film producers, so much so that the very thought of seeing any virtue in either Hitler or Nazis is abhorrent to the consciousness of the present day Europeans.

Europe and America produced at least a few thousand films highlighting the human misery caused by Hitler and his army. The films expose the horrors of Nazi regime and reinforce the beliefs and attitude of the present day generation towards the evils of the Nazi dictatorship.

In contrast look at India. There is hardly any awareness among the Indians of today of what happened to their ancestors in the past, because a great majority of historians are reluctant to touch this sensitive subject. It is not difficult for the Indian historians to gather information on the kind of atrocities perpetrated against the people of medieval India, to work out the estimated number people killed in the reign of each ruler, to create vivid pictures of what happened during such battles as the battle of Tallikota when Hampi, the capital of Vijayanagara empire was systematically destroyed for weeks.

Nadir Shah made a mountain of the skulls of the Hindus he killed in Delhi alone. Babur raised towers of Hindu skulls at Khanua when he defeated Rana Sanga in 1527 and later he repeated the same horrors after capturing the fort of Chanderi. Akbar ordered a general massacre of 30000 Rajputs after he captured Chithor in 1568. The Bahamani Sultans had an annual agenda of killing a minimum of 100000 Hindus every year. The history of medieval India is full of such instances.

And against this background, look at the films we have produced so far in a country which boasts of the largest film industry in the world, with no dearth of talent and workmanship! We have films like Mugal-e-Azam, Anarkali, or Taj Mahal which romanticize the Mughal rulers, depicting them as great heroes of noble virtues oozing with kindness and love for the humanity! The heroes of Anarkali and Taj Mahal were next to Aurangazeb in their persecution of Hindus and Sikhs. But people are made to see them as romantic heroes and remember songs from these movies with great nostalgia!

One may say why dwell upon unpleasant facts. True, but can we develop the character of a nation without facing the realities of life, however unpleasant they may be? Can we develop the maturity of thought that comes with the sense of suffering and the sense of responsibility? The purpose of knowing these facts is not to heap vengeance, but to strengthen our national character, to avoid the weaknesses that were responsible for the plight of our ancestors. The Muslims of present day India are also part of this character building because they must know that their ancestors also suffered, that as far as the past is concerned all Indians were in the same boat and that there were no victors and no losers in that great human tragedy. Knowing thus, perhaps they would develop proper wisdom and understanding and right attitude towards other communities.

Finally, in what context do we talk of Hitler and Nazis in India?

The answer is even more disturbing. Any one who speaks for Hindus is a Hitler or is in the process of becoming one and any group which speaks for Hindus are Nazis or are in the process of becoming Nazis!

This article was written in the year 2000, 15 years ago and the situations has not changed much, except that we have now more articles by Hindu scholars in circulation on this subject. Meanwhile, millions of Hindus obliviously watched the movie Jodha Akbar, a historical, fictional movie showing a rather romanticized, secular, Akbar in love with an overly fictionalized Rajput princess. They gloated over it in reviews and made it commercially successful. A television serial by the same name was also telecast for several weeks and months.

there is 2 types of slavery physical slavery and mental slavery, mental slavery is the the worst as you give in and accept your position as a slave, you start seeing yourself as inferior and your master as superior. Indians had been mentally and physically enslaved by the invaders politically and the bhamans socially. the reason indians were slaves for 1000s years is because they gave up and accepted their positions as slaves, they mentally became slaves and accepted the invaders and bhamans as their masters, this is the worst kind of slavery, when one themselves give up and accept themselves as slaves and inferior. Many indians still have this mentality, you see a lot of this in the west. Many indians love approval from the whites, even if it means ditching culture and religion. for many indians integration actually means pleasing their white friends and neighbors lol      i guess after a 1000 years of being slaves many never snapped out of it.

Its guru gobind singh ji who woke Punjabis and snapped them out of being slaves, he made them realize their potential

Although the second article is mainly about the Hindus who were killed in the Holocaust. Buddhist and jains were also massacred in their millions. All none Muslims were affected, this includes all castes. The mughals did not care about what caste someone was. Their aim was to kill all non Muslims and forcibly spread islam. The fact of the matter is most people have forgotten about happened to our ancestors. This may partly be down to it happening so long ago. ie the nazi holocaust only happened relatively recently in the last 80 -100 years. The Holocaust of India happened from 1000 to 1800. Why should we forget the biggest mass killing of all time done by the evil islamic invaders. 

lets not forget the Sikhs that were also nearly wiped out by the same holocaust perpetuated from the mughals and other islamic invaders. 

Why laugh at the massacre of innocent people. Maybe because some people look up to their mughal masters.

Funny how pakis look up to the mughals when Punjabi Muslims were also slaughtered. Many towns in West punjab were completely destroyed. Guru Nanak ji tells us what babbars army did to the muslim women in babbar bani

The first Mughal emperor Babur was gay, he talks about his gay feelings in his diary babur nama which is available in english.

in his diary he describes his feelings for a persian boy called baburi

"Amid this time there was a kid from the camp market named Baburi,"  

"Indeed, even his name was incredibly proper. I built up a bizarre slant for him – rather I made myself hopeless over him." (2)

"There has been no darling with the exception of me who is so tragic, energetic and offended. Furthermore, there is nobody more savage and pitiable than my darling!" (1)

"Prior to this experience I had never felt a craving for anybody, nor did I listen to discuss love and friendship or talk about such things. Around then I used to create single lines and couplets in Persian. I created the accompanying lines there:

'May nobody be so troubled and crushed by adoration as I;

May no adored be so unfeeling and imprudent as you.'

in his diary babur also writes how he was not interested in his wife and that his worried mother used to force him to spend time with his wife 

"I was not well arranged towards her, yet, this being my first marriage, out of unobtrusiveness and modesty, I used to see her once in 10, 15 or 20 days. Later on when even my first slant did not last, my timidity expanded. At that point my mom Khanim used to send me, once per month, or like clockwork, with driving and driving, dunnings and worryings."

Top positions in government are still held by bhamans and that is the reason why all the dark bits of bhaman history have been deleted. 

bhamans persecuted dalits, raped dalit women, denied  basic human rights and dignity, so how were the bhamans any different to the mughals? yet you will very rarely see a indian bring this up.

yeah its a good book, different perspective on caste system, gets you thinking. bhamans are still ruling india
