Pious momins don't answer to unclean kaafirs.

Although I feel deep down we all expected this from Muslims and shouldn't feel surprised. But  because of my interactions with Muslims I still  give them benefit of doubt hoping that since this is the 21st century they might have also updated to this century from their mid evil period mindset. But I was wrong seeing them do this to the Hagia Sophia.

It's just the sheer hypocrisy that is really shocking. On one hand they lament and cry as victims over Hindus building the Ram Mandir and Jews occupying Jerusalem and Temple Mount but shamelessly feel no qualm by turning Hagia Sophia into a Mosque.

No one is a victim here. It's just Jiski Laathi Uski Bhains(ਜਿਸਕੀ ਲਾਠੀ ਉਸਕੀ ਭੈਂਸ) type of mindset at work here.

When Muslims were strong enough they destroyed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, turned Hagia Sophia into a a mosque. When other groups are strong enough they take it back and the Muslims play the victim card.

Karma will kick Turkey on the back side when the Kurds take their independence and break up that country.

Bunch of Sikhs butthurt over Turkey's decision, no doubt your Hindu brethren are also. Work on keeping the Golden Temple a Sikh building before your short haired counterparts claim that. A little history.

- 532 Hagia Sophia built as a Cathedral Church

- 1204 Converted to a Roman Catholic Cathedral by Crusaders

- 1261 Turned in to a Orthodox Cathedral by the Byzantines

- 1453 Converted to Mosque by the Ottomans

- 1935 Turned in to a Museum by Ataderp

- 2020 Back to a Mosque

Muslim Neighbour. As a Muslim how do you justify turning the most sacred shrine of the Orthodox Christians into a Masjid?  If that is justifiable for you then why object to Jews reconquering Jerusalem and the the Masjid Al Aqsa from the Muslims? We all know it is just a matter of time before they rebuild their Temple there. When and if Muslims object the Jews will probably just cite how Muslims justify turning Hagia Sophia into a mosque so they did same

586 BC Babylonians destroyed the first Temple built by King Soloman

70 CE Second Temple destroyed by the Roman Empire

691 CE Dome of the Rock Shrine was built by Umayyad caliph Abd al-Malik

705 CE Al Aqsa Mosque was rebuilt and expanded by the Umayyad caliph Abd al-Malik and finished by his son al-Walid.

False equivalence, nice try though. Muslims at best built the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa on rubble which Muslims weren't responsible for.

See what we don't respect about any of that is destroying or capturing places of worship. It's a sickness you have in common. Which was the posters point. It's not cool to do or have done to you. Which you think you wouldn't have to tell someone..anyone...especially someone who's religion supposedly protects places of worship...

You mean like Ranjit using the Badshahi Mosque as a horse stable and space to keep ammunition and his son using the minarets to bombard the Lahore fort, on top of banning the Azaan of course.

Because Ranjit's pathetic 'Empire' only lasted 50 years.

    • ok i will try to keep this as short as possible. i wanted to get something off my chest and didnt know where to put it but here goes i wont mention names for privacy reason. my friend we will call him S. I grew up in the same street as S. We were both punjabis and sikhs and our immediate neighbourhood had quite a few punjabis and whites. I met S well playing outside when i was around 10 or 11 during grade 6. his mom and my mom became immediate friends and we would hang out. when we turned 14 he was HEAVY into khalistan movement and loved our culture and religion. he would go Gurdwara and do seva regualry at Nagar kirtan etc. stayed away from smoking drinking and girls and was a very respectable guy. Even though he was a mona he loved our community.  Something changed during the time we turned 17 after highschool we drifted apart but still kept in touch. He started hanging out with a different crowd. These guys werent punjabi but of another group and they got him into crime. From what I hear these guys mentally destroyed him and his self esteem. He never at the gurdwara doesn't go to nagar kirtans and cant remember last time hes even hung around us or even any other apneh for that matter, His mom cries every night and i still get calls here and there from her asking if ive seen him.  I know where he is and what hes up to but i dont want to cause his mom stress. it just hurts me so much what happened to S and i know that if he didn't fall  in with these guys he wouldn't turn out this way. I feel guilty because before this time i got way into the negative side of punjabi culture like partying, girls bhangra etc S was never into these things and I guess he started feeling isolated because I admit we stopped calling /hanging out with him because he would just act awkward around girls and we drifted apart and thats when he started hanging with these guys
    • i hear most pakistanis are barelvi and that the orthodox salafis dont even consider barelvis as proper muslims. its these same barelvis that give sikhs a hard time and are probably the ones who r doing this grooming crap because almost every pakistani mosque even here in canada is a barelvi one. I have only met one orthodox muslim in my life and tbf the guy was very calm and respectable so maybe these barelvis use us as a scapegoat to feel better about themselves?
    • just to add one more thing. This Singh is very strict that degh shud be prepared in sarbloh. If a rehitvaan amritdhari makes degh in sarbloh utensil while japping gurbani, degh becomes amrit.
