They normally stand out, you can tell when someone has had a bit of a bumpy ride and then turned to faith, its all good, but like you said they can become a bit extreme lol. some of them put quite a bit of emphasis on outward religious appearance, which again is absolutely fine if it is a reflection of their current inner state. 

What i don't like is how some continue have a bit of a potty mouth, nothing worse than seeing a grown man with a full beard dropping F bombs.
