something seriously wrong with Indian's perception of women

Recommended Posts

A bihari woman cleans our house.

She told my dad that her husband beats her regularly and asked for help.

Yesterday my dad met her husband.

He told my dad that these women r lusty, clever and deceitful creatures and that no one can understand the mind of a woman.

Amen to that bro. I had somebody in mind when I posted above. Lol.

To my Gursikh Sisters I commend you.

And all Love included, and jokes aside, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaja did write Sri Charitropakhyan for a reason.

I should really read that...having had first hand experience and sort of...imagining what's in there... I've been working up the resolve.

I apologize if I offended anyone. I was feeling salty.

Rightly or wrongly, the 'reputation' of  a woman carries great weight for her immediate and extended families in conservative cultures, e.g. Catholic countries, Indian subcontinent and middle East

I think the Catholic countries have moved on from this. Southern Europeans and South Americans don't have this honour culture when it comes to women anymore. The Indian subcontinent and the Middle East are crap places that everyone wants to leave. People from those countries who want to keep backwards thinking like sexism and casteism alive in their new countries should be deported.
