I was searching online in rehatnams and on other sikhi related sites if turban tying ceremony is cultural or religious. I think it should be religious, but I don't see it as part of the rehatnams as other ceremonies are mentioned like janam sanskar, vidiya sanskar, Amrit, marriage and death. Even though its religious symbol to wear turban, how come its not part of religious ceremonies. I am trying to find out what are the guidelines if any. Basically, I would like my kid to start wearing turban after doing ardas in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee and taking the permission. Even though, he has already tied turban during camps. The other question would be wh…

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fatteh People may think i am on about the donations, but its the whole structure of the show. When Sikh Channel first started out, it was fresh, Young Sikh Naujwan taking part in katha, kirtan but lately it is becoming very predictable. They have discussions and to be honest i just get lost halfway through as it's completely random whereas before it was on specific topic areas. The whole channel just feels very commitee like, some old Singhs pulling the strings from the top, I used to like Bhai Manvir's Singhs katha and he's just disappeared. Does anyone feel the same? Bhul Chuk Ni Maaf Karni! Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fa…

Our special thanks to Gurucharanjit Singh Lamba for highlighting Ragi's blasphemic speeches and JUS Punjabi TV for giving platform to rein this drunken elephant.
