As you may have known, I am planning to take amrit soon, and i'm a bit quite unsure on these questions: 1) Whats the difference between Taksal, Nihang, AKJ rehit? Why do we pick rehats? 2) What time is amritvela? And if you don't mind, could some of you share your daily routines (if your amritdhari), so I can see what you do as amritdharis, so I can build my daily routine around the sangats. If you know what I mean.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Kee Fateh! A discussion of Haumei also involves Haumei. Those who understand it thoroughly do not discuss it. A complete understanding resides only in the heart of someone who is liberated, a Sant. We learn its secret from spending time in their company, not from a discussion. A spiritual osmosis occurs in Sat Sangat. That is the only way to understand it properly. I feel that Haumei has not been discussed properly so far. As we know, when we understand the nature of Haumei the path is clear to us. This very fact indicates the enormity of this topic. There is wisdom in brevity, but how can we describe the problem of ego adequately wit…

There are already people commenting against sikhs and asking sikhs to forget 84. The article is being followed actively by many people I am sure. GuruFateh. On the 25th Anniversary of Indira Gandhi's assassination, I think it's worthwhile to have an intelligent discussion on her, Operation Bluestar and the subsequent aftermath. After her assassination, it was reported that Sikh's in the UK were celebrating her death by giving out ladoo's etc. This did happen because family members were at the Smethwick Gurudwara (Bham) and reported this as fact. Now, we as Sikhs have to look at the faults done by our own kaum. This is totally against the principles of Sikhi. Didn't Bhai Kanaiya give water to the enemy? Didn't Sikhs report him to Guru Gobind Singh who in turn said Bhai Kanaiya was a true Sikh becuase he understood…
