*In the context of getting married, and 'girls' should be girl* So I've spoken to a really nice girl over the phone, for 20 mins, and our family have meet each others and we both went to a side area and spoke to each other for 15ish mins. However, I am unsure as to whether we are a suitable match, and we didn't talk about what each other's aims in life were and whether we were suitable. I know I will get lots of people saying that 15mins is enough and such, but I'd really like to meet up with her again a few times and speak and see whether we're suitable for each other. Do you think this is acceptable? Her parents might want an answer right away but its a big thing and …

Why are we hating each other ... why ...so many people here and in real life divide Sikhs and flame each other example.... Sikhs with a trim ....... people say you are or you are not. Well it's better to have something then nothing at all!! Sikhs ....... who cut hair and have no bread, Are no devils don't hate them ... In fact they may believe in guru then many with paghs and breads Sikhs who drink etc ...... Every one has reasons it does not mean we should hate them and split out self's apart Sikhs ....... Who are Amrithari stop hating them , stop putting them down, stop calling them baba ji Sikhs ...... Like me we need to stop doing this, I'm sure that a on…

Hoardings having photographs of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Udham Singh and Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, along with Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, who was killed in Operation Blue Star, have come up in Patiala. One such hoarding has been put up on the Sangrur road by residents of Ranbirpura (Korajiwala) village, about 7 km from Patiala. The villagers consider Bhindranwale as a martyr who had laid his life while fighting for the Sikh community. “There is nothing wrong in the hoarding as Bhindranwale was also a great warrior, who sacrificed his life for the honour and prestige of Sri Harmandar Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib,” said Gurbax Singh, resident of Ranbirpura vill…

Fateh All, Right, where to begin, well my daddi jee (grand mother) is about 95 years old. So 13 years ago when we used to live in India we had our daddi jee who lived with us for 28+ years. Then my dad came to UK and i joined him a couple of years after and stated studying. So my sisters got married in india because they couldnt join us in uk due to their age. After my sisters were married we again asked our daddi jee to come with us to UK but she refused. I begged her for years when her health was good to come and live with us in UK but she said she doesn't want to go. So one of my sister lived in our house taking care of our daddi ji because her husband was working…
