Sat Sri Akaal Sangat Ji.. I will be visiting Maidenhead for a short time for a corporate training and wish to visit a Gurudwara while Guru Nanak Jayanti celebration are on. But I wish to knw if the celebration will be held on the same day ie 2nd Oct or sunday ie 1st October. Hoardings having photographs of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Udham Singh and Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, along with Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, who was killed in Operation Blue Star, have come up in Patiala. Fateh All, Right, where to begin, well my daddi jee (grand mother) is about 95 years old. So 13 years ago when we used to live in India we had our daddi jee who lived with us for 28+ years. Then my dad came to UK and i joined him a couple of years after and stated studying. So my sisters got married in india because they couldnt join us in uk due to their age. After my sisters were married we again asked our daddi jee to come with us to UK but she refused. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
