waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh Im new to the community and I have seen alot of articles complaining about manmukhs doing bad stuff. Then in the comments people say bad stuff about the manmukhs. Rehat Maryada clearly says not to get revenge or retalliate useing kordi boli(bad words phrases anything that might anyone) if your ina life death matter then yes self defence is acceptable. Guru Gobind Singh always explained others sins with respect and love. As a follower of sikhi it is not right to use language lke that. May the sin be wrong yes i wont deny that but the way you deal about it or complain about it is. Please consider this waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh

Good point. I think most people who frequent forums (myself included) don't like to lose face when a discussion takes a turn for the worse. So to cement our stance sometimes people get a bit hot and bothered - although I don't think I've ever sworn. Anyway recently I really do think it's best to let things go and be humble enough to admit when you've made a mistake. As for doing nindya of the people who did the original nindya (lol) its an easy trap to fall into but, again, one to be avoided in my opinion.

Definately in touch with Sikhi, his fathers amritdhari and he himself has done various sikhi albums from which he has taken no money. English translation used is that of Bhai Sant Singh which is used on SearchGurbani, SriGranth, etc There is no such thing as a definitive black and white english translation hence they are all dodgy. Certain groups argue as to which interpretations are correct. Gurbani is open to countless and endless intepretation. One person cannot show someone else the sweetness of amrit by mere explanation. Similarly such argument is as fruitless. Also there are transliteration spelling errors on websites which sewadars are working on correcting. We have previously posted internationally however at the moment we're offering UK postage. Feel free to forward onto friends.

I feel that these protests are a good idea, but we are sending the Wrong message. Instead of saying "free Bhai balwant Singh", we would should be saying that "we stand 100% by your desicion Bhai sahib and support it, but this decision by the courts is wrong"

. How is using bad language and swear words a part of Sikhi? Completly against it.

As instructed by the Jathedar of Sri Akaal Takht Sahib, there will be an Akhand Path Sahib starting at 9pm Friday with bhog on Sunday evening for the Chardi Kala of Bhai Balwant Singh Ji Rajoana at Nanaksar Thath Wolverhampton. Bhai Sahib is due to be executed by hanging on 31st March at 9am. Let's all get together and do an ardas for the Chardi Kala of Bhai Balwant Singh Ji. Please attend and spread the word. That is his whole point of not doing any appeal and it really take a bhagati wala gursikh to walk toward death sentence.

I think bhai rajoana is very clever he has worked out how to unite the kaum and raise awareness of who we are and what system Sikh institutions are living under....thats slavery of central government in delhi. So it has made many sikhs across the world wake up and realise how the akal takht is not sovereign and no longer the voice of the Sikh nation its afraid to speak out against the oppression its under, and no sikh should bare that. Even the hardest times in our history when we were almost wiped out as a kaum the akal takht always rallied Sikhs to fight back no matter what until we achieved freedom.

Some say we can go hunting and some say it is wrong. We can go for target practice without killing an animal. So if you want to get some defense skills. Go for target practice. But it is understandable where you are coming from. To kill a moving prey with even a gun is a hard task to the unskilled person. Best thing is to start with the target practice to master your shot. We live in a day and age where we have high tech guns which can be used at a very far range and daggers are used at close range. Before we even think about hunting, we should think about what it means to take a life. We are not Jains, but neither are we savages. So find the fine line and walk on it.

also , the worse thing to see was some clowns youth covering their mouths appearing like islamists -why such behaviour - we don't need to act like muslims - just your presenece with prkash dara is enough.

MESSAGE FROM SANT BABA RANJIT SINGH JI DHADRIANWALE ABOUT THE ANNOUNCED HANGING OF BHAI RAJOANA: 19th March 2012 Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Ji Dhadrianwale have appealed to the Khalsa Panth for unity during these times of struggle and injustice. Sant Dhadrianwale have said Sikhs must unite to put pressure on both the Punjab and Central Governments of India to stop the execution of Bhai Balwant Singh Ji Rajoana, scheduled for 9:00am, 31st March 2012. They have stated too much has already happened in recent Sikh history and Bhai Rajoana should not be a victim of capital punishment. The Jathebandhi of Sant Dhadrianwale is categorically against such action. Every Sikh, Panthic Jathebandhi and organisation should not remain silent, but unite to openly oppose this action. Another Akhand Paath Sahib will be held at Gurdwara Parmeshar Dwar Sahib (Patiala) from 20th to 22nd March 2012 for the Chardhi Kalaa of Bhai Rajoana. Thousands of Sikhs are expected to attend a Gurmat Samagam on 20th March 2012 organised by the Jatha in which Sant Dhadrianwale will appeal to the nation to unite and support the campaign to stop the hanging of yet another Sikh in India.....further reports to follow.
