  1. Such crap written its embarassing! So according to the gangu lawyer in the article ranjit singh gifted the brits with the diamond after the wars......So let me get this straight, after dying in 1839, ranjit singh came back frm the dead 11yrs later and gifted the brits the diamond? Wow i knew ranjit singh was a special man but not that special. Also it then dispicably states how ranjit singh gave it to the brits for the HELP THEY GAVE in the sikh wars? WHAT THE F*** is this d!ckhead cow p!$$ drinker goin on about? So ranjit singh supposedly rewarded his enemies for destroying his own empire and that too as a dead person? We all know hindus r re-writing history, but this is a new low.

  3. It should stay with the Brits, they won so its all theirs. Plus its not like the Sikhs were its first owners. As for this Indian scumbag? Just ridiculous. I hate how they try to pass off Maharaja Ranjit Singhs empire as an "Indian empire."

  4. If you save shabads and play via bluetooth then your internet allowance is not used. You download an app which will play your music directly in your car. This method works if you install a stereo in your car with bluetooth. The shabadsare then saved on your phone before hand.

  5. If your music is being streamed from SoundCloud, etc., (i.e. it's not directly on your phone's hard disk / memory card), then yes you are using up your internet allowance, much like when watching a YouTube video. I'm not sure about the Bluetooth way, but I'm guessing no.

  6. Definitely. Just plug the FM transmitter into the connection where the earphones / buds go. Job done. You can get one from Amazon UK. Anything that's playing on your phone will play through through your car stereo with that little thing. So, Spotify, iTunes, SoundCloud, anything.

  7. Thank you ji to all that have helped me with this. Seems like MisterrSingh Pajis is the best solution. Thank you Jacfsing2 Paji, Preet ji, Gsingh ji and MisterrSingh ji. Silly Apple waleo, I'm not buying a new pc. Gosh, why does Apple make the simplest of things difficult. ??. ? Going sleep too tired now. I might try the wireless flash drive. Thanks.

  8. Thanks I don't have PC. Only iPad and iPhone. I'll try onedrive on my iPad, but I need to play it in car as audio. Not video.

  9. Apparently all major news channels in India are quoting that d**& head. Tells you about their credibility, doesn't it?

  10. Penji, I'll give you the best solution. Get a £7-8 FM transmitter. Copy shabads and Gurbani over to your phone via a USB connection between your PC and your phone (I'm assuming it's an Android). Then, find a blank frequency on your car radio and find the exact same frequency on the FM transmitter (88.00FM is the most common). Through the music playing software / app on your phone start playing whatever you wish to listen to. Voila, as long as your car stereo is turned on, whatever is playing on your phone will be heard through your car stereo speakers. I live in an urban area and I get very little to no interference. Just ensure the volume on your phone is set to max, and then adjust the volume of the stuff you're listening via your car stereo. You don't have to mess around with aux connections (if your stereo hasn't got one), so the only thing you'll need to remember is your little FM transmitter.

  11. Since a sizable number of Sikhs live in the UK and other previous English colonies like the US, Canada and Australia and enjoy a higher sense of personal freedom and wealth then they could ever imagine by their Indian counter parts I think, Sikhs should gift this diamond to the Brits. We can raise some sort of 'write in' whereby all Sikhs living in the UK, US, Canada, Britian...give their full support that it should remain the British crown. As a Sikh if I had to choose, i would rather it remain in the hands of the British then the Indians.

  12. VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Sorry, I think my language may have caused confusion. The statement as a whole is below. " It meets the definition of sex in that you were having a physical sexual interaction with another individual - per what you have outlined, lesbians do not engage in sex and that would be incorrect . " The OP stated, " I have not had sex but me and another amritdhari individual engaged in "mutual manual sex" - I wanted to make sure that nobody was under the impression that the "mutual manual sex" is somehow classified differently from sex in terms of a bujjar kurehit. Perhaps my wording (and trying to be avoid being too graphic with details) led to confusion. Any physical sexual acts with a partner with each other, as outlined by the OP that is not a spouse, is a bujjar kurehit. I wanted to make sure that someone did not start classifying "mutual manual sex" as a separate category to sex and somehow not see as a bujjar kurehit (take the example of Bill Clinton, who did not classify oral sex as sex and used it as an excuse for lying to the american public). Sorry for the confusion.

  13. Well I take gurbani over us mortal's opinions (myself included) - Khoob khana Khichri Jeh Mein Amrit Loon || Heiyre roti karne gala katave kaun || Great is the simple food of rice and lentils, for who would like to die to end up someone else's food . This line clearly indicates that eating plants is fine , whereas eating animals - "gal vad hatya kamae" , also animals feel both fear and pain - what kind of spiritual person will be cold to their cries ?

  14. The facts are indisputable. Yet, this could be a devious ploy to get Sikhs to raise their heads above the parapets by making us vocal advocates for reclaiming the diamond, thus demonising us as dangerously anti-British in the eyes of the public. I wouldn't put it past them. It's bait.

  16. veerji you can buy an aux cable but you'll have to fit it in your car. Another option is a wireless Bluetooth but might be costly. Lastly theres an fm transmitter, might be crap quality so go for a good one like belkin ( check reviews). Would go for the last one for convenience but AUX would be better long term. Soundcloud is free and has BOS on there. Dont pay on itunes, no one does and you would be wasting money. You should be able to download or youtube convert for free. You need to do bit more research :P Waheguru.

  17. To me it looks like it was only luck that stopped this incident becoming something much more nasty. Thank Waheguru!! Unless the perpetrators were actually purposefully planning to scare rather than kill. But what if some kid was running past when the thing exploded. When I was a kid, we used to be running around the Gurdwara all the time. Anyway, any of us with even half a brain has probably figured out that such things are (sadly) on the cards given the current political climate in the west - mainly as a consequence of their failed 'war on terror'. It's sad, but I have to say: Singhs and Singhnis, brace yourselves, keep strong, we are likely to see all manner of crap out there. We will probably inevitably lose some numbers as a consequence of other people's battles - but let's try and keep our casualties to a minimum. Time to strengthen ourselves up.

  18. I still remember when there was just one story: udasi-nihang-1805. Slowly the story tellers are getting more imaginative embelishing the narrative adding that it was written thousands of years ago where it was burried underground(even though paper cannot last underground for so long). The oral tradition story tellers should have said it was found in a cave because that would have been more believable since the cave would have protected the granth much like the dead sea scrolls were protected. Now I am hearing of new oral traditions of famous Shaheeds also writing copies of the Sarbloh Granth in Punjab. ਗੱਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੀ ਕੋਈ ਹੱਦ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਆ I'm all for Sarbloh Granth but adding unrealistic mythology and ਗੱਪਾਂ to the narrative will only serve to discredit the Granth. What we need are GurSikh academics to thoroughly study the Granth and its history and come to a realistic conclusion.

  19. Guru Har Rai sahib had a beautiful garden of various flowers which they took care of by themself. They also built a clinic for injured and sick animals and gave free ointments and medicine for them. They preached to have compassionate care of the environment which include living beings such as animals and plants.

Guru Nanak Jayanti also known as Gurpurab and Prakash Utsav marks the birthday of the first Sikh Guru Guru Nanak.
