  1. The closest thing I found was a commentary of the documentary which isn't very complimentary, with quite cutting commentary from his late wife. https://www.sikhnet.com/news/young-sikh-grateful-jagraj-singhs-legacy-its-beyond-me

  3. NATIVE AMERICAN COYOTE 7 Principles of Distraction I use the analogy of the Native American Coyote - the Trickster to teach this philosophy and drive home the understanding. The coyote is really a teacher who teaches us about our foibles and weakness's in a way in which we can accept and then take action. Most of us have a deep instinctual knowing of the purpose of our existences. We are continually battling the dark side of spirituality or the forces that conspire to drive us from knowing our desired purpose in life! What distracts from that knowing I call the Seven Coyote's of distraction! Coyote Those being: 1. Know 'APISTOHTOKI' (Creator). 2. Learn as much truth as we are capable of accepting. 3. Teach these truths to others. 4. Find and experience lasting peace. 5. Find and experience boundless joy. 6. Find and experience limitless love. 7. Find a purpose beyond ourselves. Sometime during our lifetime, we begin to feel a yearning for something else. Something we do not quite understand, but we know this yearning has little to do with the mundane experience's we have lived until this point. If we were to try to put this feeling into words we might describe it as a deep need to get home, and yet we do not quite know where home is or how to get there. So we begin a search that is honorable and sincere. Some of us have learned much in our lifetimes and realize what it is we need to progress up the evolutionary ladder of enlightenment. For those the path is easier and we know how not to fight the direction. For the majority of us, however we only find the PATH after much difficulty and disillusionment. This usually is not all our doing but rather the responsibility of the cultures into which we are born. Our perceptions are clouded by what we perceive from our experiences and teachings, unfortunately we are being taught by unenlightened beings that are on the path of selfish, self-serving greed. Some of those beings are aware of what they are doing, but the majorities have no idea as they think it is normal and OK to use others to get what they want. Those beings use what I call the Coyote's of Distractions to teach us as a society how to act. We as potential enlightened beings have to be constantly aware of our perceptions and how they can be easily corrupted by society. We must be aware on a daily, even hourly basis lest we are drawn into those perceptions. The Coyote's of Distractions can be categorized as follows: The Quest for Power Native American Coyote One Perception: The power of money because that is what society respects and worships. People look to money for all sorts of reasons; rationalizing that with money we can gain the power we need to do the things we think need to be done. Reality: Money is not power, it is one of the false Gods of the flesh. It is simply a means of exchange. People do not respect money at the level of the heart therefore money becomes useless for spiritual things. Neither Christ nor Buddha or any enlightened being had money or placed any value on it. There is nothing wrong with the intent of money, what is wrong is the intent of greed filled individuals who distort and destroy through the use of it. Native American Coyote Two Perception: The power to teach via title or position. People think having a title or position gains them respect and attention. Reality: The power of position or title have no bearing on the teachings of the heart. These things may reach those of us who live in the flesh but not those who live in the heart and spirit. To live in a truly spiritual manner is to live in humble service to others. Native American Coyote Three Perception: The power of strong body and the strength of mind. People admire these attributes and are impressed with their message. Reality: Body and mind are outward appearances and have nothing to do with the grander things of life. Those who have wisdom and truly wish to listen will not listen to an over educated mind or an over developed body. What is needed is sincerity and love and it makes no difference how it comes. When the spiritual mind and body is strong all else will follow. People need to learn to listen to their inner truths and not those who profess to know more than another. We all have the same access to these truth's, we just need to be taught how the access the information. Native American Coyote Four Perception: The power of fear is great and through fear the masses will follow. If I can threaten you with a Devil I can control you. Reality: You can never force acceptance through fear. You can never force understanding through fear. Fear may imprison the logical mind and body but never the spiritual mind or body. Native American Coyote Five Perception: The power of deception will lead the masses to acceptance. Then you can control through the use of more deception. Reality: Nothing can deceive the spiritual heart or mind as the heart will always know of the deception. The trick is not allowing the deception to deceive the logical mind. Native American Coyote Six Perception: The power of religion. If one rises to the top of the masses through religion then they can control through the use of religion and thus bring Creator closer. Reality: If one flourishes through religion then there needs to be no control and there needs to be no power. Only Creator can give true power but it is power for true purpose. No church, temple, nor religious cult can give true power. Native American Coyote Seven Perception: There is power in healing. Society looks to a healer as all powerful so they will follow. Reality: There are no healers; they are only bridges for the spirit to heal through. A person who says he is a healer is only filling his own ego which diminishes his power. These are the things that distract us from our true path, they are things of the head and not of the heart. They have little to do with finding one's truth and Creators' real power. The only true power is that of unconditional love. Change cannot be forced for very long, as there will be rebellion as well it should be. The only true change is through the heart and free choice. One must be discerning when choosing their teacher. We can learn from all that we come in contact with but we must be capable of separating good teachings from bad and then maintain the true power of discernment which lays in acceptance and non-judgmental loving of all things. Live in a simple, unobstructed manner. Do not attempt to control your life by controlling others; all you will accomplish is creating pain for yourself and those others. Learn to pray many times during the day and you will be at ease. Place your true faith in yourself and your Creator and your path will be much straighter and relatively clear of obstacles. 4. Gurjant Singh Chela! After seeing the effectiveness of Bhai Gurjant Singh, the butcher D.G.P. Ribeiro got the most brutal S.H.O. Mith Singh appointed at the Bage Purane Police station, which was adjoining to Bhai Sahib's village in Thana Baga. The S.H.O made Bhai Sahib's family his target for meting out police brutality and being unjust, this brute got the front Iron Gate from Bhai Sahibs house removed and placed it at the police station. He humiliated Bhai Sahib's father by dragging him by the hair, in the heat of the Punjabi summer in front of the police station and made a public display of torturing Bhai Sahib's father. He challenged Bhai Sahib's father to "go get your tiger of a son to come and face me, face to face." Bhai Sahib learnt of the atrocities met out to his family, and after a while he made plans to avenge these evil actions. He along with his 3 associates Bhai Lakhvinder Singh Lakha village Dhole Ke, Ajmer Singh Lodhivaal and Bhai Darshan Singh Tarkhanbad, exterminated the S.H.O at the police station whilst he was under the guard of his bodyguards. After removing the S.H.O, Bhai Sahib and his associates fired at the police in the police station, but they locked themselves in out of fear and did not dare to return fire. Bhai Sahib and his associates left the police station at 7.30am with such calmness and braveness, no police official had the courage to even follow the Singh's after they left. The newly appointed S.H.O got the very same iron-gate reinstated at Bhai Sahib's house.

  7. I hear that. It must be mad/heartbreaking for those that are breaking away (or trying to), to watch the majority of people they grew up with/around, obliviously still trapped by these 'curses' and not even trying to escape. I guess for some ignorance is bliss? But some people are cursed/blessed[????] to have some notion of what is really going on. Escaping isn't easy sometimes.

  9. Nature will do the correction. Also, fossil fuel will be gone and power generation might be an issue but a balance will come by using more sustainable and renewable energy sources. Geo engineering must be also be modified. For example to overcome the ill effects of genetically modified and dangerous cancerous chemical infused foods.

  10. It's getting worse. You can't just 'adjust' the normal calling it a new normal when the new normal keeps changing in one direction which should be alarming to say the least

  12. I read a book about this guy years ago too. I think the author was a yank and there were antiSikh sentiments throughout the book. If it's the same one, I think he even called M. Ranjit Singh a gandu, and he is all doe-eyed about afghanistanis, which is ironic because they still have dancing boys to this day like proper gandus.

  13. He seems the timid type. But a lot of info in that video was important. Not so much for people like me (and maybe you?), but for the hordes of simple minded Sikhs who've forgotten just how racist england was for Sikhs not long ago. And those who've been mentally conditioned to view their own ancestor's subjugation under colonialism with nostalgia. I read a book of his a while ago (Boy with a top knot), which was written very well, but even in there he seemed to struggle with exalting goray (or at least goreaan). He seems to be struggling with that. Or it could be that his eyes have opened of late. I think a lot of brothers and sisters in the UK have woken up recently, the reality of how the state and it's machinery have been obfuscating grooming for many decades (essentially colluding in feeding vulnerable girls to the worse predators) , and finally realising that Sikh human rights issues (like 'disappearances' and 1984) are a non-issue for the UK (despite decades of protests by Sikhs), also seeing how differently Sikhs are politically treated compared to others (Jaggi Johal). There's like a slow awakening by some asleep people.

  14. Another interesting book that i read long time ago.. https://books.google.com/books/about/The_Man_Who_Would_Be_King.html?id=R2Q51iIenvEC The Man Who Would Be King is the riveting story that inspired Kipling's classic tale and a John Huston movieIn the year 1838, a young adventurer, surrounded by his native troops and mounted on an elephant, raised the American flag on the summit of the Hindu Kush in the mountainous wilds of Afghanistan. He declared himself Prince of Ghor, Lord of the Hazarahs, spiritual and military heir to Alexander the Great. The true story of Josiah Harlan, a Pennsylvania Quaker and the first American ever to enter Afghanistan, has never been told before, yet the life and writings of this extraordinary man echo down the centuries, as America finds itself embroiled once more in the land he first explored and described 180 years ago.Soldier, spy, doctor, naturalist, traveler, and writer, Josiah Harlan wanted to be a king, with all the imperialist hubris of his times. In an extraordinary twenty-year journey around Central Asia, he was variously employed as surgeon to the Maharaja of Punjab, revolutionary agent for the exiled Afghan king, and then commander in chief of the Afghan armies. In 1838, he set off in the footsteps of Alexander the Great across the Hindu Kush and forged his own kingdom, only to be ejected from Afghanistan a few months later by the invading British.Using a trove of newly discovered documents and Harlan's own unpublished journals, Ben Macintyre's The Man Who Would Be King tells the astonishing true story of the man who would be the first and last American king.

  16. Whilst the facts of Empire are interesting, his personal views leave alot to be desired. He either seems to be politically naive or wants to appease his peer group both in and out of the Cambridge circle perhaps as a result of being targeted and physically threatened. So it becomes a little difficult to take him seriously as he seems to be an Establishment piece a la BBC. I mean anyone who says things like the Queen is politically neutral hasn't really got a clue. I might ask him to read David Icke to widen his scope.

  18. A key event will be when the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution will be repealed under the pretence of a great step forward for democracy. When that occurs i think it's safe to say the countdown to the end is well and truly on. I'm beginning to now understand why a population should be armed and not be at the mercy of its government. That way lies oppression, internment, and death. They're already heavily leaning on NZ gun-owners to turn in their weapons since the Christchurch shooting earlier this year. Those of us in Europe where even god forsaken butter knives are considered a danger are going to have to get creative for defence purposes.

  21. They are oblivious to the recent treachery of the white establishment: nov 84 vs westland helicopters, jaggi johal vs possible future trade let alone 10 million homeless sikhs, rapes and murders in the high thousands during partition, after planning to divide the sikh heartlands, saka Nankana Sahib , saka Guru ka bagh, Jallianwalabagh ,duleep singh's kidnap , imprisonment of jind kaur, etc etc going back into history A civilisation that doesn't remember it's history is doomed to repeat it.

  22. They're labouring under the dangerous idea that their hard fought middle class existence will shield them from any potential unrest; that's it's only going to affect the ghettos and the rough areas because that's where the "undesirables" live. They hold the people who are slightly rough around the edges, or those who've fallen through the cracks, with contempt -- although they'd never admit it -- yet funnily enough their misplaced faith in the "system" will send them into an existential crisis when the false safety net they cling to is going to be withdrawn. As much as I'm not anti-white or any of that pallaver, apne of a certain social status in Western countries have too much faith in the sincerity and the integrity of the White establishment. These people have sold out the fellows of their own race; ain't nobody give a jack about us. Sink or swim.

  23. We look around in the hope others will join us in a brave breakaway from the norm. Stepping outside accepted conventions is a daunting task for most people; it's tougher for a community such as ours that's still conditioned to conform in many ways. What I've learnt is that only those who have nothing to lose are brave enough to take that step into the unknown. The guy with a comfortable life who's pulling in 5 or 6 figures; has spacial living conditions, and a decent support system has no reason to upset the status quo that's provided him with the comforts he and his dependents have weaned themselves into believing they cannot survive without. That guy isn't going to lead the call for change. In fact, he'll try his utmost to temper the dissent because he realises it has the potential to upset his apple cart in the future.

  24. I don't know how many times this topic keeps cropping again and again and again. You wimps know what you need to do, just do it, stop making BS excuses. Go to the gym and improve your fitness, lift weights. Take up boxing and martial arts, learn to defend yourself. It's not that hard, it is simple, just get off your ****

  25. And there is Sikhi 'theory' which suggests that with karams (action) and nadar (grace) all is possible and even the most degenerate person can be redeemed. I've seen uncountable apnay and apneean from foundation, respectable (even Amritdhari) families act so lowly and deceptively despite a comfortable and loving upbringing, it's unreal. Conversely, I've see apnay and apneean from the most effed up of families go on to be some of the most decent people around (having learned from their parents kartootaan), so I would vehemently disagree with what you are saying. What I have also noticed is that the deviants from 'respectable' families with all their promiscuity, whoring and drug/alcohol issues get covered up by their families who are obsessed with keeping up appearances. Conversely, someone from the opposite background gets vilified for infinitely less than what the former often does. All in all, it just works to keep some conservative hierarchy stable, nothing else.

  26. there is a scientific genetic theory which proposes it is not just physical but also behavioural traits pass down , referred to as meme theory , Many cultures have noted that the child of a person who has negative/positive traits is more likely to display the same traits whether it's nuture or nature not sure the proportions . In India people used to shun earnings of dodgy business coming into the home as it would taint those fed with it, especially the kids . We try or rather we pray for deliverance from our karmic load through Guru ji's grace , we have no power to change by ourselves
