I do admit if we had more numbers life would be easier for all of us, no need to worry about the Kirpan causing issue, or any kind of discrimination. But dont you know God makes his precious things in small numbers (jewels/gems).

We must understand something, religion doen't benefit from more people, religion doesn't benefit from one person, the person benefits from the religion.

I also want to say we should not judge other from their looks, if a person wears the 5 kakars that doesn't mean he is a great Sikh, you have to become a Sikh from the inside. We should just see people who wear kakars as people who are representing or trying to represent the Sikh faith for Identity purposes.

As per the beard trimming I personally think its awkward but nothing more, many people mistake growing hair to be the same as not cutting, and also many Punjabis think that Sikhs are to grow the hair on the head, because Kes is reffered to hair on head, and "val" hair I think, but back then there was only one word, kes meaning hair. But we should not judge anyone.

Nobody has the right to tell Posh jatti to change her name, the most we can do is educate her about the Sikh belief on the caste system nothing more. We know nothing about her, what if she isn't even Sikh? and even if she is, we shouldn't judge.

Sikhs are a majority.

How many amritdhari, rehitdhari Sikhs do you think there are in the world?

There are 20 million "just by name" Sikhs

and of those maybe 1 million is amritdhari

and of those maybe 250, 000 keep rehit

so each rehitdharee amritdharee gursikh is sava lakh

so Sikhs actually have the mental / spiritual / physical / social / psychological power of: 31,250,000,000 (31 Trillion) people

with guru ji's kirpa they just need to know how and when to use it

yeh i would av wondered onli if i had a brain 2 think

nah buuhhhh on a serious note yes i do tend to respect guys wiv turbans buuhhhh onli da 1z wiv a long beard as well.......coz ya c majority of them wear a turban buhhh trim/shave there beards i mean wos da point in that ???

Whats wrong if a geeza got a Paag/Dastar and trims/shaves his beard. Everyone is at a different level of Sikhi internally and externally. I agree that both do combine. But I dont understand when ppl say o dat Singh got a shaved/trimmed beard or wat eva i mean wt* I know some some proper wierd and bent Singhs with daris n dastars who are worse than other Singhs (if thas wat u call them) with shaved/trimmed beards. I trim/shave my beard wat the problem with that dont mean i aint no less Sikh than a amrit dahri internally.

and who cares which gals like turbaned/non-turbaned men sikh kuriyan uk ones prefer non-turbaned "sikhs" u jus have 2 read the back of the wedding section in des pardes. I find you get more respect etc from non-sikh gals if ur a Singh trust me! espicially muslims gals maybe cos they more in touch with thier dharam. hence ur point

has anyone ever wondered what life would be like if sikhs were in the majority, would we still be discriminated against by others and would sikh women prefer turbanned singhs......what do monay sikhs think of turbanned singhs do you you even have respect for turbanned sikhs?

Umm i aint a monay but yeah i admire Gursikhs who wear full-bana looks wicked.

just because a group is in the majority doesn't mean discrimination ceases to exist. ALSO enough with the 'women preferring topic.' if people have their own preferences then you have to respect them for that

Yeah bro true say everyone has there opinion.

actually u are a mona as u trim your dhari and u are also not a sikh as u trim ur dhari. cutting hair is a bujjar kurehit (any hair on the body) and by doing so makes youeself a none sikh
