sorry the book is way up on my shelf and i cant be bothered to get up and search thru it....im so lazy lol

the book is called life of banda singh bahadur by ganda singh. its a rusty red and light red colour.

guruji told him to stay celibate because being the temporal leader of the khalsa meant he wud not b able to hav a wife or kids..........they wud b a liability with his lifestyle n actions.........banda singh bahadurs sons beating heart was thrust in his mouth before he was decapitated by the mughals.......he wud not hav bin put in such a position had he listened to teh guru

This belief is actually propagated by certain Hindu Swamis who tell people to not eat anything that grows underneath the ground.

No Sikh text (meaning Gurbani) supports such bans.

u don't xpect to talk to maharaj with a stinky mouth do u?? 

there are things like toothbrusha nd toothpaste to help with that...plus i dont think anyone will sit on taabay or start doing paath w/o cleaning themselves up first(Kar ishnaan simer prabh apnaa mann tann bheay aroga). Yea Jkaur bhainjee if baba buddha jee ate onions we can eat it too tongue.gif Dont bother about all this ritualistic thoughts. Their just there to make sikhee more confusing...:)
