Recommended Posts

Perfect Students post is extremely flawed, i would like to alert all members and guests reading the forum that he is a MEMBER OF THE SATNAM/DASAN DAAS CULT LEAD BY SOME FATTY CALLED NARINDER GREWAL, they are out to confuse sikhs into thinking narinder will 'liberate' them.

I will refute perfect student's COMPLETELY FLAWED post soon.

well you're defintely not a 'perfect student' mate

ehmi ..........

In SGGS, we have been told first thing that God's name is Sat Naam, We're told again few times in SGGS that God's original name is SAT - TRUTH.

SGGS - Page 1083

ikrqm nwm kQy qyry ijhbw ] (1083-10, mwrU, mÚ 5)

kirtam naam kathay tayray jihbaa.

With my tongue I chant the Names given to You.

siq nwmu qyrw prw pUrblw ] (1083-11, mwrU, mÚ 5)

sat naam tayraa paraa poorbalaa.

'Sat Naam' is Your perfect, primal Name.

GOD has been given 100s of names such as har, gobind but his original the one GOD gave himself is TRUTH - SAT. Sat Naam is God's name, When we recite Vaheguroo Vaheguroo, we're praising his mahima such as we're praising all the satgurus of past, present, future, 10 gurus, all the messengersof God which is good but we should include SAT NAAM. Guru's didnt come to get themselves praised, they came to show us the truth! When we recite SAT NAAM VAHEGUROO, we remember GOD great name and his mahima (satgurus). Sat Naam is the name but it has to be gurprasadi. At the end of mool mantar it says gurprasad meaning GOD can be realised by the True GURU, meaning we need gurprasaadi naam. GOD himself is formless, he doesnt have a body, he needs a body to reach you, that is why GOD comes in the form of satgurus (10 gurus), brahm giani, sant. When we bow to a satguru, brahm giani or a sant we are bowing to the param jyot - supreme lord himself, not the physical body. For a true guru, there is nothing physical everything is spirtual!. GOD always comes in physical form (brahm gianis, satgurus, sants) to reveal the truth to us, give us gurprasad, show us path to truth, salvation and peace. But when he does, people start to slander him, people are living in the past. There has always been satgurus on earth, in the past, they exist now and they will exist forever.

The one's that are destined to believe it, they will believe it and become gurmukhs one day. Those who do not believe this, it is simply not their time to believe this. One day or other, this life or other you have to believe the truth. There are living satgurus that still exist and will exist forever to deliver the truth. One's destined to become truthful will listen and others will slander. There are only 2 choices for us either we stay as MANMUKH or become GURMUKH. GURU GOBIND SINGH JI said there is no different between khalsa and him because when someone becomes true khalsa, they are enlightned, their bodies are no long run by their minds, but GOD himself. The param jyot, supreme god runs their body that is why sukhmani sahib tells us that GOD conscious being is himself the formless lord, because if your body is being run by God, you'll have all qualities of GOD etc. But when we come accross a true brahm giani, we start to slander, we dont want to listen to the truth, we want to live in the past. Whether you believe it or not, NAAM is gurprasadi and you have to get it off a living satguru, brahm giani, sant. That's it. end of it, whether you believe it or not, my job was to tell you the truth, whether your mind let u listen or not that is your choice, your destiny! We claim to be true followers of SGGS ji, then why dont we follow it? It tells same thing over and over again true guru has to bless us with gurprasadi naam, it doesnt say that 10 gurus are saying only they are true gurus. our 10 gurus done the same when they came to the earth, they wanted to tell people the truth but what hapepned? did people listen? Muslims wanted to kill them why? because they didnt want to listen to truth. People started to slander our guru's why? because they wanted to tell them the truth. this happens all the times because this is kaljug, when god comes in physical form we slander him!

There is no living Guru for sikhs and who needs living Gurus for liberation are not aware of bani.

Guru Gobind singh said "Sab Sikhan Ko Hukam hai Guru maneyo Granth"

Sikhs never need a living Guru only we need is to recite bani daily that is only way to attaing God, ther is no other way.

There is no need of any Living Guru what he will do to max he will recite bani for you, nothing else.

Guru is Guru Granth sahib and who are weak in this are not Sikhs as they are not following the hukam of Dashmesh Pita.

"Muslims wanted to kill them why?"

this is a false statement, pushed down the throats of sikhs so we can be illustrated as the guard dogs of the hindus.

we can name many hindus who tried to kill the gurus.

brahmins who despised guru nanak for disrupting their business or religion as some called it, chandu, the hill rajas trying to assasinate guru gobind singh ji and many many more.

let's not forget diwan sucha nand, gangu brahmin....

for a very deep person you should be more careful about spreading india's vile propaganda.

peace.

    • Net pay after taxes. If you don't agree, think about this: If you were a trader and started off in China with silk that cost 100 rupees and came to India, and you had to pay total 800 rupees taxes at every small kingdom along the way, and then sold your goods for 1000 rupees, you'd have 100 rupees left, right? If your daswandh is on the gross, that's 100 rupees, meaning you have nothing left. Obviously, you owe only 10% of 100, not 10% of 1000. No, it's 10% before bills and other expenses. These expenses are not your expenses to earn money. They are consumption. If you are a business owner, you take out all expenses, including rent, shop electricity, cost of goods sold, advertising, and government taxes. Whatever is left is your profit and you owe 10% of that.  If you are an employee, you are also entitled to deduct the cost of earning money. That would be government taxes. Everything else is consumption.
    • No, bro, it's simply not true that no one talks about Simran. Where did you hear that? Swingdon? The entire Sikh world talks about doing Simran, whether it's Maskeen ji, Giani Pinderpal Singh, Giani Kulwant Singh Jawaddi, or Sants. So what are you talking about? Agreed. Agreed. Well, if every bani were exactly the same, then why would Guru ji even write anything after writing Japji Sahib? We should all enjoy all the banis. No, Gurbani tells you to do Simran, but it's not just "the manual". Gurbani itself also has cleansing powers. I'm not saying not to do Simran. Do it. But Gurbani is not merely "the manual". Reading and singing Gurbani is spiritually helpful: ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਭਾਖਿਆ ॥  ਗਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਪੜਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੈ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਿਆ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The Lord's Bani and the words are the best utterances. Ever sing hear and recite them, O brother and the Perfect Guru shall save thee. Pause. p611 Here Guru ji shows the importance of both Bani and Naam: ਆਇਓ ਸੁਨਨ ਪੜਨ ਕਉ ਬਾਣੀ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਲਗਹਿ ਅਨ ਲਾਲਚਿ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ The mortal has come to hear and utter Bani. Forgetting the Name thou attached thyself to other desires. Vain is thy life, O mortal. Pause. p1219 Are there any house manuals that say to read and sing the house manual?
    • All of these are suppositions, bro. Linguists know that, generally, all the social classes of a physical area speak the same language, though some classes may use more advanced vocabulary. I'm talking about the syntax. That is, unless the King is an invader, which Porus was not. When you say Punjabi wasn't very evolved, what do you mean? The syntax must have been roughly the same. As for vocabulary, do you really think Punjabis at the time did nothing more than grunt to express their thoughts? That they had no shades of meaning? Such as hot/cold, red/yellow/blue, angry/sweet/loving/sad, etc? Why must we always have an inferiority complex?
    • I still think about that incident now and then, just haven't heard any developments regarding what happened, just like so many other things that have happened in Panjab!
    • There was a young Singh from abroad who went to Anandpur Sahib Hola and got into a fight with some Punjabis who were playing loud non-religious music. He had bana and a weapon or two. There were more of them than him.  He ended up losing his life. Don't be like that. Not worth it to fight manmukhs. @californiasardar1 ਮੂਰਖੈ ਨਾਲਿ ਨ ਲੁਝੀਐ ॥੧੯॥ Argue not with a fool. p473
