I just see many people here having a problem with Panjabi using their basic human right of chosing the partner they want to marry. If I didn't know this forum was "Sikh" I'd think you were some backward Saudi or Afghan tribesmen...

I have problem with all the sikhs who would prefer to be treated as Punjabis then being sikhs.

I am seeing this thing for quite a while now, it is strange many sikhs wanted them to be called as Punjabis and not want them to be portrayed as sikhs, i assume that sikhs left today are only weak cowards as the sikhs in Punjab are mostly people who were not moved by Blue star or children of them who prefer to hide behind there mother when the sikhi needs them most. so most sikhs in Punjab have no valor or simply Punjab only is left with cowards who has no resemblance to our ancestors.

So you will see only Punjabis in Punjab in coming days, who are only good in being humans and consider sikhi as part of hinduism. and when sikhi will need them they will run away.

There are not more then .1 percent sikhs in Punjab having true sikhi in them but there are 99 percent punjabis.

I hate all sikhs who prefer to be considered Punjabi then being sikhs.

1 percent?i do undertsand what you are trying to get at bro but i dont think its that low. a lot of people have left punjab due to persecution and discrimination. its really bad there through fault of the Hindustani government. but like you i dont like the was people alternate between the use of punjabi or sikh when thet choose.but ive never condone out of religion/culture relationships.

What i can see today in Punjab is completely disheartening, you can see my pain in saying so, it is due to my misery not to do anything and seeing todays generation far away from there ancesstors.

I will say plain truth most of educated Punjabi sikhs (Who love punjabi thing) love Indian govt more and consider sant jee as wrong.

I have seen this all, i have lived in Punjab abd can say it is ground reality.

yeah to be honest you are right i agree with you. it is really hard to see whats going on in hindustan. but i get cheered up when i see in certain parts over here sikhi is flourishing. like this girl marrying a tamil tiger this debate shows alot of people care about sikhi and are really proud of it.

This seems to happen in canada aswell.

The sikhs kids marry who ever the want as long as they are Indian ...the parent don't car as they can't do anything about this, they are happy the kids are marrying an indian.

girls drink and smoke, just like the guys do...

In reponse to the above post, it's not discriminating other religion, yeah see everyone as one but doesn't mean go out and marry out of your own religion there is a big difference between the two.
