If in this day and age where there is alot of turmoil within the Panth a Sarbat Khalsa was called at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib was to be selected by the Sikh Panth who would you propose? Also if at the same time the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President were to be selected by the Panth who would you propose?

1) Who do you propose for Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib?

2) Who do you propose for President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee?

Please be sensible.

Waheguru if these two were the right Panthic people and worked together, it would blow a new life into the Sikh Nation.

sgpc has become a joke. it means that Akal Takht and 5 singh sahiban jathedari has become a joke as well.

Giani Pinderpal Singh Ji rejected the post just as Sachkhandvasi Giani Amolak Singh Ji rejected it as they were against the meat issue in the Akaal Takhat Marayada!!

Im assuming that this is the same Amolak Singh of the AKJ, who seem to acept the maryada of Akal Takht when it comes to Raagmala. But when it comes to meat suddenly its not good enuff for them?

It is correct, these big political players have turned Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee into a joke, but in this day and age and seeing what is happening in Punjab and seeing what is happening to the Sikh Nation, IF we select a Panthic/fierce person as President of it who is able to take a stand against the authorities, SGPC can achieve so much and the Panth will be backing them.

Same as with the Singh Sahibaan the Jathedar Sahib of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib Ji if the Jathedar took a stand, a proper Panthic stand, the Panth would support them 100%.

So please give suggestions on who you would propose for:

1) Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib?

2) President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee?
