I agree with all of you guys.. and i think Giving ONE WAY response is the job of knowledgable person in every field; history, gurmat, culture and geographical area..

All those youth forum advice counselors are the one who adopted sikhi in their 20's, 30's or even 40's/50's etc.. They are not born into sikhi family thus they do not carry much knowledge about our history (political/social). yeah they do know about gurmat but having history knowledge is must..

i liked this youth forum much better.. : http://sikhyouth.waheguroo.com/?c=qa than sikhnet...

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

My letter to Gurmustak Singh Ji on this.I got no response for this which I think is a response in itself.

waheguru ji ka khalsa

waheguru ji ki fateh

Dear Gurmustuk Singh Ji,

I appreciate the work you and your team is doing for the panth and I have always beleived that you people are doing a great sewa.

But I think its my duty to bring to your notice something in your Youth Forum area.

Please refer to the following link

http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/youth.nsf/b...87003a227e?Open

Well I will just keep my points here and would like you to answer them.

1.In this post it has been said that "Baba Nihal Singh, a Nirankari Jethedar in Anandpur Sahib is one of the most spiritual Sikhs I know" .also "others consider them as the best Sikhs".It is true that its not our business to judge people, nor I think I have the capability to say who is or who is not a sikh.I am just wondering does sikhnet or its sewadars beleive that Someone can be sikh even if they do not beleive in SGGS as their ultimate Guru and even if they dont beleive in Amrit and rehat maryada. Its no secret that Nirankaris dont beleive in SGGS as their ultimate Guru nor do they beleive in panj piare, amrit or rehat maryada ,so how can a Nirankari be called a sikh? Yes baba Nihal Singh might be a very spiritual person ,I have nothing against him personally but he can be a Great Nirankari but not a great Sikh.In 1978 Nirankaris set out to declare some kind of seven stars against Sikhs 5 piare. They

also disrespected SGGS,our Living Guru, notwithstanding this some great sikhs went ahead to stop them and were martyred.Till this day we remember those shaheeds with reverence ,but calling Nirankaris best or spiritual sikhs is akin to laughing at their martyrdom.I am told(but i am not sure) that there is a hukamnama from Sri Akal Takht where Sikhs have been asked to keep distance from Nirankaris.

2.If you read respectable GTKK's response to what i wrote he or she has not answered my queries at all.Yes there have been great spiritual people in other releigions but they were best or spiritual hindus or muslims or some other releigion not sikhs. Will we call any spiritual person on earth a Sikh ?

3.GTKK says:"There are so many incidents of Sikhs murdering Hindus, Muslims, etc....as there are incidents of Hindus or Muslims of murdering people...as there are Christians. Does this mean that all Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and Christians are not GOOD ....(what ever religion they are)? So many horrible things have been done in the name of religion. Even today. When are we going to learn to stop judging one another...being fanatical, prujudiced, narrow minded, self-righteous and hateful?"

I never meant to say someone is bad ,It is just assumed by GTKK JI.Just because some one is not bad and is very spiritual ,we will call him a Sikh?I dont understand what kind of justification is this.I am not calling any one bad just because they have done things against sikhi. In fact I am not calling anyone bad at all.Its just that person in question might be good Nirankari or whatever beleif he belongs to.

4.Examine your own consciousness from within...and follow what your intuition tells you...not your ego...not your desires...not our intellect...not fashion...not your parents...not your friends...but your inner Higher Consciousness.

I completely agree with the above statement but dont understand what does it have to do with my query?? And does this statement helps to support that nirankaris can be cal

led "best sikhs" or "most spiritual sikhs".

5.Once again I repeat that may be person mentioned is a great soul but I ask you if you consider calling a Nirankari Jathedar or Nirankari Sant "best sikh " or "most spiritual sikh".Please answer my question directly by not getting into any remarks which say everything but the thing asked.

6.My objection is because someone who might have enough faith in sikhnet and who has no other source of info might actually beleive that Nirankaris are sikhs and might start attnding their functions thereby getting drifted from the sikhi. What if someone asks abour radha Swamis tommorow?would you go ahead and call a spiritual Radha Swami a sikh??..

7.Yes we should not argue on who is and who is not a sikh but at least we know that Sikhs beleive in SGGS as their final and ultimate Guru, they beleive in Amrit (even if hey are not amrithari yet),and I think you beleive in Akal takht and we know (which i have to confirm yet) there is a hukamnama.

I apologise for any harsh words and I wish i could discuss this topic on sikhnet discussion forum too to know what other participants think of this, but i dont know whether sikhnet policies allow it.I still intend to discuss this issue there at some time and get other peoples views on this.May be I am completely wrong!!

Please respond to my queries and questions,i am not writing to GTKK because i think he or she doesnt have anything more to add on this.So I am awaiting your response to this mail eagerly. Please answer my questions as clearly as possible.

My apologies once again for anything said wrong. And i repeat this is not to undrmine great sewa being put by sikhnet people.

Gurfateh

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat, there is a lot wrong with that as it is against rehit! maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
