Please watch this Khalsa Aid video about poor Sikhs being converted in Punjab, where are all these babas who claim to be such great pracharaks ? I agree with babbu Mann and its about time we opened our eyes and shun the "holy conmen ". We should support such projects instead of following self centred greedy con babas...

So let me get this straight. Instead of furthuring our parchar, we should shun those who are currently doing parchar?

Don't attack those who are doing something. If you feel so strong for the panth, then add to the seva, don't detract.

Everyone has a part to play, there's no shortage of seva.

THATS EXACTLY MY POINT, YOU HAVE HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD !!! THESE BABAS HAVE BEEN CLAIMING TO BE SO MUCH INTO PRACHAR AND SEVA THAT ACCORDING TO EACH BABA THEY HAVE GIVEN AMRIT TO TENS OF THOUSANDS. IF THIS WAS TRUE THEN WHY HAS CONVERSIONS TO CHRISTIANITY BECOME SUCH A HUGE TREND AMONGEST THE SIKHS.

COULD YOU PLEASE TELL US ALL WHERE YOUR FAVOURITE BABA IS INVOLVED IN PRACHAR IN POOR AREAS OF PUNJAB AND WHICH SOCIAL PROGRAMS HE HAS INITIATED ??

THE CHRISTIANS HAVE BEEN THE WINNERS OF THE DESTRUCTION TO SIKHI BY PAKHANDI BABAS, THE PAKHANDI BABAS ARE TOO BUSY BUILDING HUGE DERAS INSTEAD.

We have to sdopt muslim style that is building Taksals , Akharas and Bungas and and teaching these Missionaries a lesson . Why we go after Sacha Sauda types because they are converting Sikhs then why should leave these Christians ?

Any one of you living in South Asia when you switch on your radios go to shortwave meter bands.

You will notice that the most powerful stations on shortwave these days a "Christian Missionary radio stations" .Most of these so called gospel stations on shortwave have programs in Punjabi.

The demise of Soviet Union has given these stations a big boost so far as better signal quality is concerned .After fall of Soviet Union a number of many powerful transmitters were left behind. What these countries in which these transmitters have been left behind did is :they converted these transmitters in to money making machines. They lease these transmitters mostly to christian stations for money.Earlier these christian stations used to be broadcast from somewhere in the pacific and signals were not good but nowadays those very stations are broadcasting from transmitters like those in Uzbekistan which is very powerful and is heard all over India not only in Punjab.Though this station is supposed to be in Hindi most of the activities are conducted in "Punjabi" .So any person in Punjab with a simple radio can easily tune into this station. The station Im talking about is called the ' Voice '.It is heard all over South Asia including whole of Pakistan and India. Most of the interviews in this program are in typical Punjabi of people living in Punjab(East & West both) from our own villages .They have telephone numbers and mail addresses in North India.

Similarly there are other stations having exclusive Punjabi programs for Christianity are AWR,Transworld radio,FEBA Radio,Family Radio etc .All these stations are in fact a "red signal" for us Sikhs and Sikhism. These stations lure ordinary people by sending them "freebies" and along with that they send christian literature free of cost .

On the other hand let's compare the above stations with those spreading Sikhism on Shortwave. There is "no Sikh religious station" on Shortwave at the moment. The present SGPC has done nothing in that regard.A number of years back there was a "program" not station called "Radio Khalistan " on Shortwave but even that program had to lease time from Worldwide Christan Radio(WWCR) Nashville,Tennesey,USA but even that station was hardly audible in Punjab.Nowadays that program is no longer there on shortwave.

People in this forum may laugh and may not take this threat seriously but this threat is very grave indeed.Time will show this.Since the transmitters are some where in Central Asia and Pacific we can not do anything.

This onslaught of christian missionaries is no less than the threat from Sauda Saadh. The Sikh quam is still sleeping. The are only engaged in reacting to blasphemous acts of others when they happen but have not pro active policy.

At the same time we can not ignore the baahmanvaadi media which has always been showing Sikhs and Sikhism in poor light .Look at the programs in the so called Punjabi tv stations .Most of these are anti Sikh and show that only clean shaven people are heroes whereas our heroes are Shahibzaadays and not maskharays of bollywood or tv.These monas are shown dancing ,drinking and running after girls in almost every Punjabi song. This is the direct result of baahmanvaadi influence and corruption done by baahmanvaadi forces to keep the common Sikh youth engaged in dancing, drinking, narcotics, porn etc so that they forget about themselves and the real problems they are facing .It is easy to enslave a generation by delinking it from it's culture and throwing into into a dungeon of narcotics and porn and also in the name of national integration and Hindu Sikh unity.Politicians have their own vested interests in keeping the status quo intact.

I feel they have been quite successful in assimilating most of the Sikh youths in Punjab into the baahmanvaadi fold.In other words the common Sikh youth is in fact a slave of Baahmanvaadi forces in Punjab whereas he wrongly thinks he is free.

Since a common Sikh youth who has bid a good bye to his real culture and ethics finds himself in a vacuum and is in turn lured towards hinduism or christianity in the name of open ness, broadmindedness and so called freedom. This is in fact slavery whereas Khalsa is born free and has the right to remain free.

Hoshiarpura, it's hard to see why you're so angry at babas. Go to a normal smagam by a baba, and you'll see plenty of normal, "pendu" people, some poor, and even some Biharis. These are exactly the kind of people targeted by Christians. So can't we just let babas preach to this section of society, or is parchar just for the (relatively) well-off living in Delhi, Bombay, Vancouver, and Toronto?

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat, there is a lot wrong with that as it is against rehit! maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
