Meera Bai ?

Does anybody know anything detailed about Meera Bai and why her Bani was not accepted into Guru Granth Sahib jee - or so that is the story I think?

If anybody has details could you please share?

I am not sure but i think meera bai was into idol worshiping thats why her bani was not included.This is just I read somewhere,I am not sure abt it.

Well I know very little abt her but Meera Bai was a devottee of Krishna, She persumed Krishna as her Husband and was in love with Krishna. Her love n devotion towards krishna may be more of wordly than spritiual could be the reason for non inclusionof her bhajans in SGGS Jee.

Mera baey was great bhagataney.. (as i heard from my mum ) She was in love with her god(hindu god) not in a physical way...

Mita bai shabad was written in Original Guru Granth Sahib In Kartarpur india 

later someone crossed it but it is still there

I was wondering about this. I've read some of her writings and its very mystical. I think she was a Rajput and was given a lot of grief by her husband and Inlaws. 

But then again during the Bhakti era India there were countless sants in India, it was like an enlightenment period. I have a book about a little known Sant named Dariya Sahib of Bihar, he mentions Guru Nanak Dev ji in his poems. 

I think her bani as added to the Kartarpur Bir against Guru Arjan Dev Jis Hukkam so it was later crossed out?
