What relevance does the Kalki Avatar has in Sikhism and who is this avatar? Is he here yet on earth, or has been or is coming soon?

The Muslims claim he was prophet muhammad.

The Hindu's claim he will be shiva / vishnu or an incarnation of him.

When Pandavs started the yagya(Ritual Fires), then they requested Krishan Maharaj ji to sit on top throne. Seeing this, some were looking at Krishan Maharaj ji as his Friend, some as his family member,nephew,cousin, some as his Child Friend(Baal Sakha), some seeing him as his enemy. Krishan Maharaj ji was one but everyone looked at him with different mindset. That’s what we have to change, i.e. our MINDSET.

THUS when kalki avatar would come, Some would see him as Sikh or SIngh, to some Muhammad and to Some Vishnu or Jesus Christ.

If you read kalki avtar there are many signs which was not at all a common thing in times it was written many things seems common more over their are certain signs which are still not common so what ever the case is there are many years before such things starts happening ...

Inter caste marriages if i say its wrong people would call me racist but Guru sahib in kalki avtar wrote about intercaste marriages as a Paap ... They wrote time would come when Brahmins would marry Shuder women and khatris would have vaish wifes... Its in kalki avtar which is common thing now due to increasing number of love marriages or some call it modern thinking or what ever but it was not common in even 100 years back ... and this is just one example ...

I say it again first read Kalki avtar there is no point in discussions with reading it.

Read it understand it what ever bad things are told in the bani dont do them make people aware of such actions ...

Coming of kalki avtar is in our hand. We the humans of world if are good taking care of poor up lifting the society serving man kind. Hence pushing the coming of avtar forward day by day ... Kalki Avtar will come when there will be no dharma in this world lets keep that dharma alive ... Lets even love our enemies ...

My personal view is this kalki avtar stuff makes sense if you analyse whats happening in the world and society today. Eventually it will all end in disaster for humanity and the world then again the cycle of the ages start again. Though hinduism's take on it is biased towards keeping their caste system in place which is against the philosophy of Sikhi.

The above passage is from Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee's book – Gurbani diya Laga Maatra dee Vilakhanta. Bhai Sahib has recognized and mentioned that in the future (as was the case in the past), Satguru jee alone will be responsible for the actions and powers behind the Avatars. The future Avtar who is called Nihkalank or Kalki will be created and powered by Satguru jee. This Avtar will not begin a new religion but will be part of Khalsa religion. He will be a Sikh of Guru Sahib and will be fully powered by Guru Sahib. At the time, when it pleases Guru Sahib and at the time when Kaljug will become extremely evil, Nihkalank will appear and restore Dharma.

ਉਹ ਆਇਗਾ ਜੀ, ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਆਇਗਾ

ਚਿੱਟੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋਕੇ ਆਇਗਾ

ਕਰਕੇ ਨਾਮ-ਕਮਾਈਆਂ ਖੂਬ, ਚਿਹਰਾ ਉਹਦਾ ਲਾਲੋ-ਲਾਲ-ਗੁਲਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਇਗਾ

ਕੂਪ-ਹਨੇਰੇ 'ਚ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਦੀਵਾ ਬਾਲ ਕੇ, ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਗਾ

Whenever you recite certain banis in Sri Dasam Granth you should keep one pangti

in mind.

ਦਸਮ ਕਥਾ ਭਾਗਉਤ ਕੀ ਭਾਖਾ ਕਰੀ ਬਨਾਇ ॥ ਅਵਰ ਬਾਸਨਾ ਨਾਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਰਮ ਜੁੱਧ ਕੇ ਚਾਇ ॥੨੪੯੧

Chaubis Avtaar

Kalki Avtaar verses comes from Chaubis Avtar granth . Guru Sahib is saying he wrote this bani for the purpose of warfare.

The original CHaubis avtaar is from a dharmic text titled "BHagavat Puranas" . In those times the people were familiar with the

characters of this text and; thus GUru Sahib used these characters to show not only how Good prevail over evil but also how previous

avtaars got caught up in ego and eventually were defeated by death.

In Bachitar Natak , Guru Sahib says

ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਏ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਤਿਨ ਅਪਨੇ ਰਾਹ ਚਲਾਏ ॥

All those people created and sent by GUru Sahib created their own path, and

not the path of God.Like previous avtaars Kalki also got caught in self praise and had people worship him.

This too is mentioned in Kalki avtaar

ਜਗ ਜੀਤਿਓ ਜਬ ਸਰਬ ॥ ਤਬ ਬਾਢਿਓ ਅਤਿ ਗਰਬ ॥

In the original text of the Puranas there is mention that Kalki well be born in the house

of a Brahmin, yet in BHai Nand Lal Jis rehatnama Guru Sahib says he will destroy the caste system

and there will be no caste. I highly doubt Guru Sahib believed VIshnu as God who had 24 incarnations;

instead, GUru Sahib believed WaaheGuru empowered previous avtaars, but they got caught in ego

and hence they were destroyed.

One day some Singhs asked Guru Sahib when will the Khalsa get Raj.

GUru Sahib recited the Chaubis Avtaar to them and mentioned how SInghs should say firm in rehat, not

get caught in maya, and most of all stay humble( gareeb ) when they receive the raj. Only then will they have

a stable raj.Guru Sahib says he will give his power when the Khalsa stay distinct and restrain from practices

of the Brahmins.

ਜਬ ਲਗ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਰਹੇ ਨਿਆਰਾ। ਤਬ ਲਗ ਤੇਜ ਦੀਉ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਾ। ਜਬ ਇਹ ਗਹੇ ਬਿਪਰਨ ਕੀ ਰੀਤ। ਮੈ ਨ ਕਰਉ ਇਨ ਕੀ ਪਰਤੀਤ।

The Bani "Chaubis Avtaar" which includes "Kalki Avtaar" is not a prophetic bani instead its a bani

to inspire bir rass and a humble spirit when going to war.

Chandi DI Vaar is another example how Guru Sahib used an ancient text and modified it for the purpose of war.

THe original chandidi Vaar comes from the Markandeya Purana in which Durga is the main Character, and is praised

for her might. But in Chandi DI Vaar , Sri Bhagautee Ji ( Khanda of Naam/ Sri AKal Purakh) is

the main character which receives all the praise. This is why the bani starts off with praising Sri Bhagautee JI.

THere is also a mention of Muslims in GUru Sahibs version, yet whenthe original Markandeya Purana was written

thousands of years ago Islam did not exist. Keep in mind the SInghs fought Muslims at this time.This shows GUru

Sahib made editions of ancient text/stories for the propagation of religious war.

One may ask why would GUru Sahib need to use an ancient text for the purpose of propagating war.

One needs to understand in those times the language and characters of ancient texts were common

to the masses hence Guru Sahib wrote bir rass sakhees which the common people could relate to. For example,

if he came to America or Europe he probably would have edited the biblical stories to inspire bir ras in the people.

Noahs ark would have been Noahs sarab lohi submarine adorned with torpedos.

Its ridiculous to interpret GUrbani through the prophecy of a hindu text. Yes we live in Kaljug. Bad things are happening.

Daughers are sleeping with their fathers and mothers are sleeping with their sons, but such bad things happened

300 years ago as well. For example, Aurangzeb killed his own brothers and put his father in jail. Bad things will

continue to happen until we take sanctuary in Guru Sahibs sharan. It doesnt mean armageddon is coming and we will

be saved by an avtaar of vishnu. In this kaljug, one will only be saved through GUru Avtaar- Sri GUru Granth and Sri GUru

Panth ( KHalsa).
