First what an ignorant chubby girl trying to be funny by suggesting using turban for a handbag.

Secondly how awkward that he says he prefers blonds when none of the four girls remaining were blonde.

Thirdly, I'm pretty sure only 3-4 girls out of the thirty realised hes not a muslim.

Does anyone know what business he is talking about that his family are involved with?

As i said in other thread,

Singh on dating show not something you would expect in your daily life nor its my thing but if he must insist , he should take inspiration from real sikh actor- waris alhuwalia from inside man movie and full time red carpet model...!!

I reckon what really killed the fool's chances was when he couldn't manage a comeback and cutting remark to the racist chav gori who said that she could use his turban for keeping her mobile phone. Everyone one of the audience cringed at the remark and they were waiting for a comeback from the fool but all he could do was smile inanely. If he had said something like "I'm sure there more than enough for both mine and your mobile phones in the space between your ears!" or even 'I look great in my Turban but you would look even better in a Burka" then he would have got a great response from the audience and cut the racist chav down to size. The reason that Tasha put her light off was because she assumed at first he was brave confident guy but when he couldn't respond to the racist she knew he was just another publicity hungry sell out fool!

Yeah totally agree, i know he should have nailed that racist remark to the wall and set the record straight..not sure what was he thinking...thats bleeding heart liberal/lefty hippies for you that even insult/racist remark seems like an compliment for them, they do need to grow a pair- i vote for waris alhuwalia over this guy any time..!!!!!

Even one the the girls said from the outset, "it takes confidence to come on and wear a red turban and white glasses". Yes, it does take guts. But he should have been prepared for the comments!

On the otherhand, I agree with Chatanga when he said:

"The thing is with turbans and beards,(henceforths T+B) if Sikh girls born to Sardar fathers still find Sardar boys unsuitable because of their t+b what chance do these boys have with non Sikh girls on an instant attraction basis?"

I think he is clearly eccentric. But, psychologists constantly tell us that women are attracted to confident men, those who aren't afraid to make prats of themselves (don't take themselves too seriously). Therefore, I can see his logic.....

    • Anyone linking the "kenyan" style turban to Ramgarhia caste is stupid lol. It came from the Jat-only Sikh Regiment in British India (folded, starched single dastar without a pinch). It's called "kenyan style" as Kenya is where it's most popular today and has a lot of Tarkhan living there but it's originally from Jatts in India. Dastar actually opposes caste as a concept anyway so it really doesn't matter.
    • you can use nrimb.com this matrimonial site is very helpful to find Sikhs and other matches for marriage in Canada.
    • Is there a need to insult someone's Dastar style? Feel some shame When you see a Sikh wearing a Dastar you should smile and think "that's my brother" ,not laugh at how he chose to tie his Pagh. Maharaj made a brotherhood in the Khalsa not a fashion contest.
    • Respectfully, this isn't a good idea bro. This is a Sikh forum so it's best not to be distracted with other topics. Most people who visit this site don't have accounts and have questions about Sikhi so we do seva here by educating the Jaante as well. Maybe create a subreddit on Reddit for "casual Sikhs" over there. It would be better as you could link that with r/sikh. And also there are like 4 people still on this site so you won't get much response. It's really inactive here most people use reddit now
    • Sikhs can sleep nanga-sirr if they choose to . Being from Punjab, almost every Sardaarji i know (amritdhari or not) sleeps/showers with their hair uncovered. I don't think Guru Sahib asked us to wear Dastar to sleep and I don't think it is in SRM. The idea of "keski being worn to sleep" is cos in Bollywood films (Bachna Ae Haseeno) Sikh characters usually tie a gol parna when sleeping since the actor's usually Hindu. So they gotta cover his head somehow or he'd have cut hair. Same reason Diljit wore a pagg to bed in the El Sueno vid. Only time they didn't do that was in Gadar with Sunny Deol which just looked odd tbh
