Going to Sants

For the past decade the main focus of most Sikhs and Sikh preachers is to target Sants because many people are going to them for help in all aspects of life. Many preachers have been very out spoken against Sants for breaking sangat and then attaching the sangat to themselves. I know some will cringe when they read this topic, but the truth is the truth. Many Sants have divided the Sikh sangat. One of the main preacher that is fighting such wrongful acts is Sarbjit Singh Dhunda and for that he should be recognized as doing a service for the sangat. He is trying to get the Sikh sangat together on one platform and trying to get rid of the division caused by many factors.

The Sikh sangat needs to unity and come to Satguru's door and follow Satguru. There are many Baba's that don't want this happening and Dhunda is trying to fight against such forces that have backing from governments and other anti-sikh forces.

i dont want to waste my 1h 24m48s..........as far as i know after slandering sants or baba ...........they start naming them and then comes the names of only real sant and babe....like ishar singh ji , mastuana wale mahapursh, gurbhachan singh ji khalsa, kartar singh ji and worth mentioning.... there fav hari singh ji randhawa......

dere are many good parcharak like daduwal wale....instead we should listen to him as they speak against real thugs........

as far as dhunda .......even singer vinaypal is better den him .......as he even showed picture of jutha sauda sirse wale di pic in his song while slandering fake babe.....

and let me mention one thing..........we paapi are not capable of meeting with guru maharaj..........only sant or gurmukh babe can hold ur hand ...and move you forward on this path.............without sant ang gurmukh babe u'll lost somewhere in between....dats for sure

Guru Nanak Dev Jee freed us from this middleman ideology. A Gursikh needs NO ONE else aside from Satguru to get to Sach Khand. Sant, Mahapurskh etc should only be seen as inspiration and not some type of special middle man that will get us to Sach Khand.

Untill unless u don't read gurbani for urself u will always look for other. Read gurbani urself. We had made GURU GRANTH SAHIB A RITUAL GURU and we depend on other people so that they can hold our hand and move forward to the path Guru Nanak Sahib told. Plight of sikh people.

U can count good baba's on finger tips but other baba's are pretty much more than that who run there business on name of relgion.

One reason that is for sure we go to baba's is for worldly things.

Exactly. Respect and venerate any Sant worthy of that status, but this belief that we need a "vichola" between us and God is one of the founding reasons for the Sikh faith! For Sikhs that "vichola" is Gurbani. Lordy me, do people really believe this?

Of course there's times when someone is so far from the path that they need someone to pick them up and set them straight, but once the journey to Him resumes you continue travelling towards Him; you don't suddenly take a detour and start worshipping the person who put you on the path! Anyone who encourages their own worship at the expense of Waheguru is not the real deal.

Fortunately some of us had the sangat of real saints,its unfortunate for those who were not blessed with this. Where there is fake, there must be real. Problem is these individuals try and put everyone in the same boat.

E.g. are there real and fake sikhs?/punjabis/no punjabi who claim to be sikh?

These preachers use a common enemy to engage the sangat, but unfortunately they are alot worser than these so called sants, as they are also breaking the sangat from the guru.
