'surjit Has Brought Shame On Us. We Must Get Rid Of Her'

Recommended Posts

Bro if the ghost writers version (book) has been printed it's already out there but we can contact the publishers and offer sister Sarbjit our support rather than attacking her for what the ghost writer has sensationalized against Sikhi

I agree, but who is the ghost writer? We should support and make it clear this isn't Sikh supported.

That's the thing Veerji, ghost writers are anonymous professional writers. My guess is some dude who is a journalist for the paper. Best way to get our feelings heard is by finding out the publishers and contacting them. If we do it early enough we could get revisions printed but it might be too late and only happen in the 2nd edition.

This is story of children with low moral values and looking down upon ethical values of our system.

Even though they have been brought up in sikh households they seem to pretend to be unaware

of sikh culture and want to copy gutter habits of western culture

they seem to pretend to be unaware of sikh culture and want to copy gutter habits of western culture?

First GPS ji, Sikh culture? There's is no such thing as Sikh culture. Sikh faith is a philosophy to reach enlightenment and to be one with God.

Culture is no part of this philosophy. This has nothing to do with cultures but a women who is more interested in what others are going to think and going to the extremes to justify her way of thinking. You can call this Punjabi culture or any other culture but western culture this is not.

K.Phull Ji The mother in law is NOT Sikh. Murderers of innocent people don't get any respect from Sikhs and are never classed as Sikh just because they try to keep a disguise externally like Beanta + this evil murdered. If the ghost writer of the book says something that she was respected it doesn't mean it's true.

Ur totally right Neo Veerji. She is a dog. She isn't Sikh and has dragged the reputation of the Panth down via her evil actions so she has to be condemned more than people like Neeru Bajwa etc.

isingh1699 ji, I apologise for the misunderstanding. This is not the Sikh way, this has nothing to do with the Sikh way of life. This is a lot to blame on family cultures that have been passed on from family to family.

Every potential Amritdhari who wants to take amrit or already Amritdhari should go through small interview by panj pyares to probe- to find out where their loyalities lies and find out if they put their group (be it punjabi castism or any group) tribalism over khalsa panth or not and to make sure all the punjabi tribal garbage/controlling freak nature is out of their mindset before taking amrit.!!..panj pyares should also create pre amrit ritual (pre amrit which are now for kids) should be available to all- intitate first people to pre amrit and after certain period and test of mind and virtues then full khanda batta da amrit that should filter people like her and other potential murders.

She is a big stain on amritdhari community, are we going to be come up statements condemning her or we as panth would brush these type of people under carpret like we did in the past? If she is someone else(like muslim community) you guys be up in arms...lets be candid and honest about it and acknowledge there is a fascism (arrogance mixed with ego pride) in the panth and lets make attempts to clean it instead of living in denial.....!!

Take lead, but just remember when it's someone else, it's because their religion is the backbone of their actions.

In this case, it is not. This is cultural.

I already mentioned - She should be excommunicated from the panth. Panth as in collective panth (UK Sikh Body) among other media needs to come up statements to condemn her to uphold khalsa values and to save image of sikhs..!! While others are more concerned about incorrect article rather than her. Sure bits of articles is incorrect but her actions should be part of the discussion first.

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat, there is a lot wrong with that as it is against rehit! maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
