What significance does it have if any for sikhs if the kaaba was or was not a hindu temple and does or does not house a shiv lingam ?

This is very interesting stuff. I always have found it strange that on the one hand the Muslims say they are against Idol worship and are sworn enemies of those they deem as idol worshipers, but on the other hand they bow towards the direction of a black stone in Makkah which itself is no different.

Hang on a minute. A few weeks ago there was a thread here, with a video, praising the efforts of the wonderful chardi kala singh who preaches in the street, stopping non-sikh passers by and explaining Sikhism to them. How come he was 'lovely' but the muslim man in the photo above is 'evil' ?

There's is a missionary faith. So is Christianity. They and dem christians have a religious duty to try and tell others about their faith. Let them get on with it. Its not harming you or I and if a Sikh is weak enough to leave the most beautiful faith in the world because of a leaflet a random geezer in the street shows him we're probably better off without him. We're a community about quality not quantity. This really really child-like phobia of all things islamic is really not becoming of a sikh.

Islam is based on fear. They say If you don't convert, you'll go to hellfire, if you leave Islam you will be killed (and also go to hellfire). According to them, no matter how good a non Muslim is they will still go to hell and yet a Muslim Jihadi who kills civilian(non combatants) will go to heaven and a practicing Muslim who marries a girl who is just 9 years old will also get heaven. Yet they see flaws in other religions, what an irony.
