This is Bhai Baljit Singh Khalsa surrounded by Punjab police...by looking at this picture one may think... he must be a very dangerous man ... whose committed a very serious crime of some sort...?!

Well no actually, he is the Singh who threw black ink at a Government buildings sign board in Chandigarh as a sign of protest because it was written in english & hindi and NOT Punjabi.

He was highlighting that even in Panjabs capital city, Panjabi is NOT being used!!

Now its OUR turn to stand with Bhai Baljit Singh Khalsa!!!

It's just a matter of time before they find that mythological RDX and a link with ISI. If the police don't find anything, I'm sure the Indian media will some how manage to create this link.

I've been to Chandigarh many times and have some family there. It is in all purposes a Hindi city. I think Sikhs only make 20-25% of the population. Most of the youth speak hindi.

Real Punjabi cities are Amritsar, Jallandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala.

I am no proponent of the Panjaabi language, but even I must admit that this action was right.

This Singh did the right thing.

The protest is valid.

The central government (under whose authority, Chandigarh, as a "Union Territory", rests), is clearly in the wrong on this one. And not for the first time either.

More hypocrisy to be proud of.
