Wearing Dastaar (Female)

So basically, I've recently taken Amrit two days ago away from my family and there finding it so hard to accept what I've done. Making me feel quite guilty about it. I don't regret the taking of Amrit but I may have rushed the decision when thinking about wearing the Dastaar. I understand its a huge huge step, but I feel like it's making me fall into a state where I don't want to leave my room, because I'm being judged. Although I should feel proud, I don't think I'm ready to wear the Dastaar, dishonouring Waheguru I fully understand. But it's knocking me down quite a bit; any suggestions or advice from anyone would be good please.

Myself and my wife do not live together due to some issues involving two different countries. For 3 years she was very hesitant to wear a Distar. Our relationship started to fall apart due to some reasons. We both wanted to resolve all the differences. I told her that she must wear a Distar. She was very scared of her mother. The day came when she put her foot down and started to wear a distar. Her mother just started to say so many things but once she put the distar on few days maybe a month later her mother quietened down. Another words if wish to do something people might not like it but remember people are so busy in their own life they forget.

Congrats ! You should be happy that you got blessed with Amrit.

Go with what you really want but make sure you don't end up doing something for sake of others.

It is time for you to develop your soul for Naam Simran and that alone will help you out down the road.

Oh no that's sad, they should be proud of u. I guess it affects family too when u make the step but don't let it stop u. Don't rebel back as will make things worse, just wear it with pride. They will have to adjust as long as u are not forcing them to you should wear if u want to. What exactly are they making u feel guilty about? Is it coz they don't see any girls with dastars where u live ?
