Air India is the worst airline I have been on, Jet on the other hand is one of the best.

Amritsar was very good for Sikhs that lived on the West Coast of USA/Canada bevause Singapore Airlines used to fly to Amritsar via Singapore.

Would not be surprised if the Dilli Billi lobby consist of Hindu Punjabi khatri Arya Samaji types.

There needs to be analysis done on the psyche of these types as Hindu Punjabi Khatris can be very anti-Sikh (no surprise that the Hindu Punjabi Khatris make up the majority of Bollywood).

Just have to make do with Borat Airlines

Yes there was and still pressure from delhi as they are loosing business. Jet airways pulled out because they were going in huge loss. They are okayish now as etihad bought 24% of this company. All private indian airlines cut many routes because they were not coping with the operating cost.

All/any route to ATQ should have only economy class - might add few rows of premium economy. But only way to get Ameitsar airport busy is because of government's help. Trim down landing charges, give permission to airlines to use ATQ and you will see spike of punjabis using atq instead of del.
