I've noticed in interfaith marriages, the guy's family accepts it more easily than the girl's because it's considered a huge black mark upon the "honor" of the girl's family. It's sad that people try to use females from other communities to show how "masculine" they are or how their own community is "superior" to the other.

In Sikhi you dont get brownie points from God if you convert a non-believer nor do you get brownie points bringing home a non-Sikh girl to marry even if you do convert her this sort of thing isnt encouraged but I know for a fact in Islam its highly encouraged to convert marry a non-muslim woman because I have muslim girl mates and they told me how their brothers were allowed to marry white and Indian hindu/sikh girls but if they wanted to do the same their parents would disown them.

Conversions are encouraged in Gurmat how else did your and my ancestor become a Sikh? It was by converting.

But converting using immoral tactics like how Muslims do like targeting girls of other faiths or forcibly converting as Muslims have historically done is against Gurmat. In Gurmat we have Parchar. Guru Nanak Dev ji conducted 4 udasis, Guru Hargobind Singh jee went all the way to Kashmir to do Sikhi Parchar. Guru Tech Bahadur jee went all the way to Assam to do Parchar of Sikhi. Our Gurus brought many Hindus and Muslims into the Sikh faith. Singh Sabha movement was all about parchar and bringing non Sikhs into Sikhi. Spiritually too the Parcharak benefits greatly because he is doing Sudhaar of another person's jeevan when they follow the path of Sikhi, recite Gurbani and jap naam.

Most Sikhs don't convert non-sikhs and aren't encouraged to have huge families unlike moslems who do hence so many moslems in pakistani occupied punjab. If Sikhs wanted to be fascists like muslims have been and are then there would have been no muslims left in indian punjab after 1947 and moves would have been made to convert whole of kashmir to Sikhi and other neighbouring states.

Sikhi being a righteous humanitarian religion has allowed Islam to take advantage because lets face it islam is a pretty backward neanderthal low IQ conquesting cult making God look like some bipolar angry vilian and thus that deserves to be booted into the dustbin of history. The sooner moslems realise this the sooner there will be less aggravation with non-muslims of the world.
