Donald Trump Attacks Sikhs

What about the wider issue of apnay standing up to political trouble makers in general. Forget this particular Trump case, but in general.

Are people suggesting that Sikhs in their diasporas sit out and say and do nothing against rabble rousing politicians, when these 'leaders' moves are likely to have a negative impact on them? Are some people suggesting that we say and do nothing?

I'd say Trump may turn out to be the US's equivalent of Enoch Powell (if he isn't already).

Sikhs in the diaspora, (U.S. especially) feel that it's best not to get involved in politics or anything that takes too much time.

You can't even vote, also isn't the U.K. debating on banning Trump?

The debate already happened, he will not be banned.

The politicians in UK (and US) are politically correct. They spoke against the idea of moslem no-go-zones where police are afraid to enter. But have a look at the article of police officers backing Trumps observation below anonymously

Trump was right that there are no-go-areas in uk where police are afraid of entering.

But one serving officer in west London said: 'Islamification has and is occurring', adding: 'You have to have extra vigilance in certain parts when you are working'.

He told right-wing website Breitbart: 'When I was a teenage lad in Burnley there were no go white areas. This is the case still nationally, including London where you have to have extra vigilance in certain parts when you are working'.

A Lancashire Police officer, who wished to remain anonymous, told MailOnline: 'There are Muslim areas of Preston that, if we wish to patrol, we have to contact local Muslim community leaders to get their permission'.

These wealthy billionaire moslem arabs support political parties by giving them money and the elected politicians all have to tip toe when discussing islam and terrorism. Donald Trump is the first businessman politician that is self funding and doesnt have to be P.C. Trump says what the silent majority feel, he speaks our mind. I wish UK had a self funding politician that aint bought out by arab oil money.

That <banned word filter activated> sikh was protesting so he was kicked out, not because of his turban. This is why i believe islamic/leftist supporting parties sent the well paid sikh there to make Trump look like a racist to try and reduce his vote bank

Why do you think Trump pointed to the front of the audience and asked 'He wasn't wearing one of those hats was he? Do you think there was another Sikh at the front? Second question. Why did he follow up the question with 'and he never will'? The answer is because Trump was talking about the 'Trump for president' baseball hats that some in the audience were wearing. So, Trump asks if he was wearing a Trump for president hat and the DM and readers complain at him for calling a turban a hat. So, who's the ignoramus?

Trump with his sense of humour wasn't racist/ anti-sikh at all. I copied and pasted quote above from a news article comment. Thought you all should read

This is why racist muslim pakistanis and racist hindu indians make, share and laugh at "pathan jokes" and "sikh jokes" because both communities (pathan and sikh) are seen as brave but useful idiots and cannon fodder to be used for anyone's agenda.

Sikhs must stop aligning themselves for communities that wish to see our conversion or death and destruction as their final end goal. We know islam wants to do this with all non-muslim communities because its explicit in quran and hadiths we know that's their agenda so we must stop defending muslims who are 1.6 billion strong (1/4 of humanity with 35+ nations) and we are 30 million at most currently with no countaries. We can not afford to be pawns in deadly political games where our innocent brothers and sisters get attacked by ignorants in america because they keep seeing "turbanators" defending muslims yet not defending america against islamification and islamic jihadi terrorists.

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
