Upanishads were translated  to persian by Dara Shikoh, the secular , tolerant brother of Aurangzeb whom auranga himself got killed ! 

Perhaps the same guy or akbar got translated ramayan mahabharat also . Dara shikoh was student of Miya meer ji who had laid foundation of harmandar sahib
