Amit12
number 8.4 and 8.5 is very discriminating taking into consideration that we live in a very diverse society now.. just saying. Not everything that akaal takht says is right ( talking about the points 8.4 and 8.5 precisely ) , for example forgiving RAM RAHIM for his actions... we gotta use our minds as well..

It say roti beti di saanj nahi karni. Which means no exchange of food or daughters in marriage. So we should not marry into them nor invite them over or go to their house for food. I am sure if the meenay owned a restaurant or a grocery store, we could frequent it. We could probably befriend them as we would a person of a different religionBut not to form any associations with them, to remain seperate from them religiously and culturally. This gives us a clue about how we as sikhs are supposed to interact with other religions.we are supposed to stay seperate and not share in their holidays or foods, i think. Also not marry into other religions. Cuz that blurs the seperation. So there is one answer to inter-religious marriage.
