Dare we speak about the UK Afghan Sikh problem ?

It's the issue that nobody wants to speak about. It's the issue that dares not speak it's name. Some will say don't speak about it because it's castist while others will dismiss it because it interferes with their pre-held misconceptions about how 'poor and vulnerable' the Afghan Sikhs are. Meanwhile, the Sikhs that live in the Afghan Sikh heartlands of Hounslow and Southall in West London have seen the real side. The dark side. The people of Southall have had to watch their town become the Heroin capital of London, where there is just so much heroin that it's even cheaper in many cases than bottled water. They know who has been bringing this mind-blowing amount of heroin over and they've seen which group has gone from paupers to flashy millionairres literally overnight. Everyone of them has amassed an amazing amount of money over the course of a few years and we all know how they've done it.....we especially know when working class Sikhs in Southall keep dying of drug overdoses, but now, thankfully, the Police and national serious crime squads have started their crackdown. Just one little group of 5 of them were found with millions in cash and kilos of heroin. Hopefully, the police will go after the rest of them too.

I am very surprised that someone of your political persuasion would read the Daily Mail. I was thinking you were a Guardian reader.

I imagine you must be feeling absolutely gutted with Boris Johnson's victory in the election.

It's not just drugs. They have manipulated the social housing (council houses) system to their advantage.

In the past 20-25 years they have amassed wealth that many can only dream of and that means only one thing.  Drugs, dishonesty and corruption.

Remember, none of their woman go to work and are regularly seen pushing pushchairs with several children along Southall broadway or Hounslow High street.

Just where does the money come from?

This link says Indian nationals, but it doesn't say Sikhs, Punjabis or Afghans. Also Afghan would not be Indian nationals.

Well, at least they are getting numbers up.

The smack thing doesn't surprise me when I think of it. They'd have links all the way back to the fields in Afghanistan.

One thing we should be aware of is how much paks and afghans are involved in hard drug selling (as well as grooming). The persistent reluctance of the police and political authorities to deal with this makes me think that these sullay have videos of 'important' goray pedophiling children (that they supplied) hence the carte blanche they seem to have.

I should have added that their women are adorned with gold. And that's just to pop out to buy the milk and bread.

Well....there's more to it than that though Daily Mail because, I suppose after centuries of living in a Muslim culture, they do possess a very Muslim - although highly sexualised - viewpoint about women. They don't allow their women to work but, unlike other Sikh communities who also have a similar culture regarding women working and gold etc, they don't insist on their women appearing modest. The opposite in fact as their culture is very much based on the belief that Sikhi, as a religion, is only for men and wives exist purely to satisfy their men. Thus, the most common sight among Afghan Sikhs in west London is for the man to have a turban but his wife to be well tarted up with cut and styled & dyed blonde or ginger hair etc.

Going back to the main point however, I don't think anyone here should be under the illusion that a few suitcases of heroin here and there have been brought in by Afghan Sikhs. No....we are talking smuggling on an incredible industrial scale. Nobody will say anything though. They have parcharaks and Sikh leaders in the UK in their pocket because they line the parcharak and sikh leaders pockets with money. This is an issue that the UK Sikh community is not mature and brave enough to discuss.

Don't know much about the Afghan Sikhs but they are instrumental with the Polish Shops (Polski Skleps ).

My main gripe with them subdividing large store units to smaller ones and turning shops into little bric-a-brac type shops.

They are a mercantile community and play to their strengths with their biradhar networks.

Dont forget the sindoor, bindi and face full of slap lol    honestly they dress like they going to a wedding.   I dont think any of the women work    but a lot of the men own little shops.

Then again culturally they are similar to muslim women of the subcontinent  so maybe that's y they dont work.  they even marry their cousins.

Theres a lot of fraud and corruption in their community. They smiley to your face but dont know what they're intentions are.     Different communities/castes have different characteristics    some are more straightforward than others     they seem a bit dodgy.
