Sikhi and LGBTQ+ ...

Well it seems to me gay folk can get gay married and have gay lust.  Which is about the same as interfaith legal marriage.

Or they can conquer kaam and join in Anand Karaj...with a member of the opposite sex, and live a Gurmat lifestyle.

Gay is not natural *edited*.

If gay attraction is normal then what about pedophile attraction?

What if a 13 yr old gay boy and 58 yr old gay man turn up at the gurdwara saying they want Anand karaj?

What if a gay turns up with a tranny half woman/man  saying they want anand karaj?

Where you gnna draw the line.

There are blokes out there with female genitals, and females with male genitals and breast at the same time. what if something like that turns up asking for anand karaj.

None of this bs is allowed.

But sikhi doesn't say anything about gay people, which leaves it for people to interperate it how they want.  What if a kusra in india decides to become a sikh?

Sikhi doesnt really talk about this stuff though.

Why we keep hair? We keep hair because it is the creation of our Akal Purakh.
Akal Purakh created a natural law on how life cycle will goes on. Agreed that we are living far from the greater truth of our gurus ideal lifestyle.... but that does means we break the waheguru natural order of lifecycle. How we humans can procreate if we are not following basic plan of our god.

khusra/hijar = Not gay.

I am sure when sikhs and other people used to get married young, ie their teens -  then their kaam didn't get to levels where they needed to "EXPLORE" their sexuality that is now in the media to the this gay culture. You got married and saw your partner for the 1st time when you were going to start your marital partnership, you didn't have a choice of what they looked like - but at the same time you were young and still growing mature so were able to adapt. It was not really anything to do with heterosexuality or homosexuality, it was more to do with having a grihast jeevan and following the dharam of family life.

Now heterosexuals are also diseased in the mind not just homosexuals, the ages we are getting married at are causing us to become slaves of 5 vikaar including LUST and EGO. We bring so much lust and ego into choosing marital partners now, oh and a lot of people are bringing GREED into choosing marital partners as well.

In the future we will probably see these kusre protesting outside gurdware asking for gay anand karaj and will probably get mainstream media involved.

It's only a matter of time..it'll start happening.....it more shocking and cringe to see how many Amritdhari Sikhs  are supporting this to extent are saying to amend the Rehat to include lgbtq community ......'Sarbat da bhala'

Imagine, if these modern liberal sjw  brainwashed Sikhs were present in Khalsa Misl era ....😅

@KSVIRK have you seen this 😂

Just watched these   and its horrific! Lost for words    the singh in the first video with the pink pagh!

Just showed it to my mum and sister and sister was like they should be killed! 😄    and my mum agreed and she said she would shoot them!

Even I wouldn't go that far!

They should simply be disowned and told to get out of the community.

What about pedophilia? That's a sexual attraction too    and what about people who are sexually attracted to animals?  P

It's happening, bro. I saw a video on YouTube a few days ago where these Zoophiles were defending their attraction to kutteh and biliyan using the false equivalency of human interactions in terms of body language, etc. I had a headache after hearing some of the bukwaas being discussed. Nastiness.

Gay and pedo aren't the same or synonymous. It happens in maya. It's has no place within Rehit or a Gurmat Gursikh lifestyle.

It is natural actually. Straight people have always given birth to gay people according to hukam and will continue to.

Anand Karaj and a lifestyle free of kaam is the only thing Sikhi promotes.

Sikhi also promotes celibate life which is open to us all until, and then only if, we enter into Anand Karaj.

So really we all, gay and straight alike, have at least 95 percent the same mission of be celibate in Mind and deed both, and not sexually fantasize about anyone and rid ourselves of kaam.

The Sikh panth doesn't need to be anti alphabet just stay focused on what it's always been.

A Sikh trying to openly have homosexual sex is the same as one drinking openly or or sleeping with the neighbors wife. It's not Gurmat is all.

    • Ok, I think hadiths play a role in the conflict too because they reject each others hadiths. They  basically arguing over one matter but each using a different set of books with different narratives lol  Cant see them reaching a conclusion with that any time soon!   Shias dont like Aisha the child bride. Sikhs are really lucky that we dont have major differences in Sikh sects like muslims and Christian's do. The worst I can think of is the nirankaris and their on going line of gurus but they are pretty much are out of the fold of Sikhi now and did whatever damage they wanted to back in the 80s.
    • Yes, @MuslimNeighbour, please do enlighten us on this (and other questions we have).
    • That's not entirely true. There is a Hadith (and I'm paraphrasing here as I don't remember all the details) when the prophet initially invited all the quresh tribes to dinner to invite them to Islam. He asked the question, who will be my brother (in faith), my friend and my successor (khalifa). Imam Ali immediately stood up. The prophet asked him to sit down (as he was still quite young, though extremely loyal to the prophet from day one). The prophet asked the question again, and again the same thing happened. On the third time, when Imam Ali stood up, the prophet said, very well, you will be my brother, my friend and my successor. This hadith is found in both sunni and shia books. There is also a verse in the quran (and please correct me if I'm wrong) where Allah says that he chooses his khalifa. Depending on the context of this verse, this could invalidate the khalifate of Abu Bakar and validate the divinity of Ali being the khalifa. There is also a "Hadith-e-Noor" (found in both sunni and shia books) in which the prophet says, Me and Ali are created from the same light. These (and many others) are just some of the points which could point to the divine claim that Imam Ali was indeed the divine successor to the prophet.  But yes, there was plenty of killing of the family of the prophet. And many battles ensued, which resulted in parts of the quran being lost. But...that's a different topic entirely....
