That's ideal. My thing is, have a solid leadership. Don't have that, can't run nothing. Simple as, brother. That's my only concern.

Well representatives can only work with what the people have to offer. And I agree we are woefully behind in a lot of Vidya regarding how to run countries and provide and make things.

Having a representative sustem starts in the household. Your household representatives meet with the others and select representatives from the Khalsa. These Khalsa representatives appoint a Panj Pyare. So because every caste..which isn't real but anyway, but because every caste has family and chosen Khalsa representatives they are represented at the level that selects Panj Pyare. So no matter if you are a majority or a minority you will be selecting through consensus, people to form further consensus, and with consensus even a minority can object.

But you have to have a built in sanction to prevent such objections because unless you are willing to enforce the decisions of the Panj as divine then questioning them should be tantamount to questioning the decisions of the Gurus. This system can only work if there are to be no objections to those selected to serve. If objections, appeals, referrals and judicial review type processes have to created to placate the objectors then this system quickly degenerates and is no better than democracy.

Panj Pyare themselves must agree and if one proves unworthy rest assured he won't be representative again as every level of representative below there has to live with the people.

The time between selections would have to be determined.

Guess thinking long term makes you a slave of Hindus. Nice! Tell me Mr. Proactive, the Azaad one, whose running Khalistan.

I'm surprised you even leant to walk because being such a long term thinking, you would have wanted to know who would be there to stop you falling as you took your first steps. Looks like slavery was ingrained in your DNA.

So if these guys were openly calling on Sikhs in india to pick up arms and attack govt officials and the police and get a whole bunch of Sikhs killed, will you be commending them for fighting in the 'khalsa way'? No you will be saying how they sit abroad while they get others sons' killed by the govt. So apart from remain slaves, what's your road plan for freedom?

Now all doubts are dispelled. This guy is probably that clown Hindu Soorma who was here a few years and then took like a typical Hindu made other fake profile to propagate his Hindustani BS. What is it with these Hindus, why pretend to be a Sikh, if you are so desperate to take on a Sikh identity, go and become a Sikh.

Ready for this? Reorganize ourselves. Instead of using resources on this referendum, let's start expanding Sikhi. Get rid of these mleccha in our panth and spread. However, this is no easy task for obvious reasons.

I propose a local to global shadow government run by the Khalsa from all places we currently live until a homeland can be established.

I agree with that. And would simultaneously pull this un stunt. I'm not saying we bet the farm or rely on it. Wait..no farms left. Still.

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
