I was talking to author Roop Dhillon and he was lamenting the fact that apnay will adopt the gundh buckwas from western culture, but not the stuff that could actually help us develop. That's the issue.

Most people stay together because of the issues of divorce are greater than the reward in our community, not because Indian women are better at being wifey.

I'm not saying that many Indian women aren't lovely, but come on, certain apneean have made a jaloos of the community in the UK in the worst possible way. 

And those type of apnay need to fix up. Or at least not drag some poor women into their mess (if they want to live that way) and ruin her life.
