4. We need to constitute teams of parcharaks who focus on select issues: reconverting the ones we lost to Christianity, reconverting Dera Premis, converting dalits. Because as you say each needs a different approach and mindset.

5. I am not saying that we can not maintain our dominance in Punjab but we need visionary leaders for that. Sadly most of our leaders are only hungry for money and ego. So this is why the coming decade will be an interesting one. Because there is a huge difference between what you and I say on this forum and the ground realities. The truth is emigration will continue and the Sikh birth rate will continue to fall in the coming years (unless some big steps are taken which I doubt).

But a start has to be made. I remember a few months ago online a lot of apnay (both male and female) made posts that they would be having at least 4 kids to increase the Sikh population. The liberal backlash was incredible, they lost their heads and one even said such views were a vindication of  WHITE SUPREMACY!! Such is the lunacy of our liberals. What we are seeing is a gradual change in attitude among our people from Liberalism to Panthic. Just take the case of the beadbi at Harmandir Sahib, even a year ago the majority opinion online would have been critical of what actions the Sangat took but now the majority opinion was sympathetic to what the Sangat did. The liberal apnay and their supporters from both the Hindu LW and RW were astounded how the Sikhs who they thought were just bhangra dancing, langar dispensing woke warriors had now become so based. 

The aim of resettling Sikligars should not just be just to provide labour for the fields. Farming will and has to undergo rapid mechanisation and labour intensive and environmental damaging crops such as rice will need to stop being grown. Sikligars should be encouraged to set up workshops where they can retain their traditional metalwork arts. They should be making good quality Kirpans which should command a premium especially among those Sikhs who want to have a Kirpan that is made traditionally and is not a plasticky  Chinese made one. 

The SGPC and Akal Takht Jathedar have at least acknowledged that Christianity is a threat to us in Punjab. This is a change of mindset which should be welcomed as well as whatever parchar they will now do to retain and bring back lost Sikhs back to Sikhi. I remember in 2014 when the RSS reconverted a village of former Sikhs who had become Christian back to Sikhi, the SGPC as well as the Akal Takht Jathedar spoke out against it!! 

If we cannot have visionary leaders then just make sure that we have visionary Sikhs, make the change in your family, fight the liberalism that has degraded us to this level and bring back the Panthic spirit into your family and your relatives and your friends. If a significant number of Sikhs do this then there is no need to wait for a visionary leader, the bottom up approach should work just as well as a top down approach. Rather than wait for a visionary leader to come, just having visionary Sikhs will by necessity make any person who wants to be our leader a visionary.

Jewish people are highly overrepresented in these kinds of professions, they are highly overrepresented among multimillionaires and billionaires, and this overrepresentation is why Jewish people have so much influence in society.

Most of the places in California that have lots of Sikh doctors on staff are in horrible parts of the state where nobody who has better options wants to live. There is a big difference between being a prominent surgeon living in Beverly Hills and being a Punjabi doctor who was educated at some horrible Caribbean medical school living in some backwater like Fresno or Bakersfield.

Get back to me when Sikhs have political power because there are hordes of wealthy Sikhs who politicians rely on for campaign donations, or when Sikhs are able to shape national narratives through being everywhere in media and entertainment.

First-generation Jews did have to rely primarily on unskilled jobs.

Sikhs have achieved a lot in little time and will continue to do so. While we may not have been here for as long as the Jews or achieved as much as them yet, we have done well and even outrank them already in several aspects (such as home ownership as stated by Proactive earlier). 

One person who had a big hand in the Indo US nuclear deal was none other than the rich hotelier Sant Singh Chatwal. He is a pro India Government guy and close to the Clintons. If he managed to get that done, just imagine what a few panthic minded Sikh businessmen can do in the coming years.

Anyhow, people like you are only good for self loathing and downgrading our lots achievements. Very few people on here have posts of Proactives calibre, so think twice before calling him clueless.

So you can understand the chart. So for Orthodox Jews only 9% think they have a lot in common with Reform Jews (liberals) BUT 79% say they have a lot in common with other Orthodox Jews. So 50% (100 - 9 + 41)  of Orthodox Jews say they have nothing in common with Reform Jew.

Heh. True. Quite an accurate analysis of California. But fresno isn't that bad. Now with tesla and most silicon Valley Companies moving to Texas, bay area is becoming a dump. Expensive and full of crime and the homeless.

LA and Beverley hills is just like Florida. Where rich ppl go to retire and is of no use politically. 

Fresno is becoming the 5th largest city in CA. And Fresno and Bakersfield are red, so might flip CA red too. Also Sikhs own a huge amount of farmland in CA too.

But anyways, nowadays international narratives can be shaped through social media. Look at what Rihanna did for the farmers protest. 

Plus I think Sikhs should concentrate on being few and religious than liberal and influential. If we have lost who we are as Sikhs, what does it matter if we have power.

@californiasardar1 you need to point this negativity towards sikh saroop towards the right outlets and expose them, maybe make a tiktok and insta specially for this stuff for North America. In the uk we nee to do the same thing, such as gurdwara matrimonials allowing the pakhand hyprocisy against sikhi saroop
