Also the incident you were referring to is not the only one. There was one about a couple claiming to be Mai bhago etc and punishing people. So it's important all Sikhs learn not to take the law and punishments into their own hands. This gives an opportunity for fringe elements in the panth to start their own cult. We need to emphasize the panthic way. And not to have any <banned word filter activated> and Harry create  their own interpretation and implementation of sikhi.

I don't think there is any 'Sikh extremism' problem in the UK. What you are talking about are individual people with personality issues (probably mainly NPD) meeting other confused people and dominating and abusing them. Often the confused person is confused about their sexuality by the sounds of it?  Or just someone with low self-esteem (maybe a mixture of such things?). This seems more like social issues than anything too me. You are right that they need to be addressed, but they are more about weak minded, gullible people clumping together (and what subsequently naturally ensues) than any extremism from what I understand.  

Given that we've had umpteen genuine murderous Islamist extremist attacks here that have killed a fair few people, including school aged girls at an Aria Grande concert, plus thousands of under-aged girls groomed, raped and abused on industrial scales (which certain brothers and sisters have been confronting over decades)  I think people like yourself need to be careful of throwing that extremism label around, because it just reinforces a obfuscating narrative pushed by anti-Sikh quarters. Plus, from how it looks here, I think many US Sikhs could do with a bit more anakh themselves seeing as so many seem to have been attacked over there on the regular.

It is indeed a grave failure as a Sikh. It is historically referenced that almost above all things Sikhs hated adultery. Whether someone later Shaheeds excuses no previous failure even if it compensates for them. 

I assume this about Kesh?

Mona are respected as Sikhs and Shaheeds. They have zero leadership role. They hold no position of power. They should keep their Kesh, that's on their list of things they'd be better off doing, much like our own lists of what we'd be better off not doing. 

Also bad are fake amritdharis. 

Only acceptable status is real Amritdharis, real Keshdharis, are the leaders. 

We however do need every type of Sikh and associate beneath that leadership.

He’s also a Mona, and we all know how Guru Sahib views that. Just because someone becomes shaheed don’t mean they are perfect.
