I don't know if we as a people can be anti gun? It's in our true culture, and when I was younger apnay actually fought for gun rights in the Anandpur resolution. 

It's just this new 'modren' 'gansta' culture that's come out of nowhere lately. Well, maybe we can directly attribute this trend to Sidhu Fudhuwallah?

Fair point, but I think most people saw 'Jajjy' B for the clown he was and didn't take him seriously. But again, things point at canada as a source for this?

Not everything is a conspiracy against us, we have plenty of thick planks in our ranks. And come on man! It is tied to caste in canada, and some perceived 'culture'. Maybe some guys just got in on the drugs game early over there and it partly stems from this?

Bro the canadian and Uk expierence is very different as in Punjabis in western canada are ruthless, there are cases of non gang related punjabis just stabbing random innocent gora to death  over soccer ball. For the gangs id say this has been going on for a while, i rememeber back in 2010s wed hear about gang dippers from Punjab coming here gettin involved in the mix. Canada has been having this problem since the 90s and criminals from punjab have been here since late 80s. Caste is nothing serious here bro if you read articles they come from different castes 

This is now not just a surrey problem but has spread throughout western canada what was happening in surrey 10 years ago is now happening in other places as populaton grows  and this is not all the communities fault police turn blind eye to drugs coming in parents have to work hard to provide the  elders only care about keeping daughters in check so boys from a young age are targetted by these older guys and the rest is histoy

With the uk Punjabi population growing i wouldnt be suprised if this starts up over there

On a programme yesterday on KTV in the UK, they mentioned about how criminals have infiltrated Kabaddi in Panjab/India. I didn't watch all of it, but the way they discussed Sandeep, it was like he was a completely innocent party. 

Was this done as a 'message' to someone else ?

Is there any drugs involvement ?

Jalandhar/Chandigarh: Five days after an international kabaddi player was shot dead in Jalandhar district, Punjab Police on Saturday arrested four men involved in conspiring the crime. 

Sandeep Singh Sandhu, alias Sandeep Nangal Ambia, and popularly known as “Gadiator”, was killed by five unidentified assailants during a kabaddi match at Mallian village in Jalandhar on March 14. 

 

Police said Sandhu was murdered at the behest of Canada-based Snover Dhillon, who was running the National Kabaddi Federation of Ontario, over professional rivalry. Police have, however, failed to arrest any of the shooters, who executed the crime. 

Those arrested for the murder have been identified as Fateh Singh, alias Yuvraj, of Sangrur; Kaushal Chaudhary of Naharpur Roopa in Gurugram; Amit Dagar of Maheshpur Palvan village in Haryana; and Simranjeet Singh, alias Jujhar Singh, a gangster of Madhopur, Pilibhit in UP. All four are history-sheeters and face over 20 criminal cases, mostly of murder and attempt to murder. They were brought on production warrant from different jails. 

The police have also named three main conspirators, Snover Dhillon of Amritsar, who is staying in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, at present and is a producer and director at Canadian Sath TV and Radio Show; Sukhwinder Singh, alias Sukha Duneke alias Sukh Singh, a native of Duneke village in Moga who has been residing in Canada for the past few years; Jagjit Singh, alias Gandhi, a native of Dehlon, Ludhiana, who is staying in Malaysia and conspired to get the victim killed.
