done with your sikhi for the day?! WHATTTTTTTTTTTT

how can you be DONE with your SIKHI???

sikhi you live each moment, all the time. you are never DONE with it!!!

I am always in that situation, we have nothing to do, friends are around.. guess what happens... we pull the vajas and tablas out and the best keertan you have never heard happens. all unplanned, its better than any samagam, better than any bhangra.. better than anything.. keertan with those close to you, done secretly, unplanned.. oh wow its so awesomeee

veer jee, as you used to say a lot, you are in the wrong sangat, come to the right sangat and your life will be full of bliss!!! who needs dancing when you can have true happiness!!

(PS i havent seen you on msn in awhile)

wait wait wait..................................

so heres what i am getting from you guys....

bhangra/dancing = fun, lightheartedness, carefree etc

keertan/bhagti = responsibility, seriousness

WHAT?!?!

i see it totally opposite!! bhangra and dancing looks like utter nonsense to me, no offense, it looks like a bunch of people trying to be happy and indulging in the 5 evils.. all i see is pain!! but with bhagti, all i see is happiness, with keertan i see such carefree stuff.. i see people just messing around, having fun, thats what keertan is about... having fun, love, etc..

wow.. this is interesting...

i know no one is gonna see this from my view...

in different circumstances... sometimes a kneed to do a little jumpin around to the beat of some music jus to calm down...as stress relief...

and other times, i feel like banging the $h!& outta the tabla hehe

and other times, foolin around on the vajja does the job best

for me, it's just like...it depends....usually i'm doin keertan or playin tabla to an Amolak Singh track..... but once in a while, i start jumpin around hahaha

veer ji son of guru gobind singh ji,

if we started thinking like that, then whats the difference between us and taliban, what i'm trying to say, and i'm shaking in my pants when i say this icause i know its gonna bring alott of heat, and i understand ur point to, and my points most possibly farse but ne ways it goes as is...

that if everyhthing that is non-sikhi related is maan-maath then where does "fanatasism" at?

and more over this religion is very moderate not as in tables and chairs or as in a non-amrithdari is a sikh but as in non-sikhi realted activities, and not only bhangra..

but that quote u said can be takin antoher way

if u want go ahead do bhangra, do as u want, but dont' take it to heavily
